    Great balance between explaining the logical parts and easy to process demonstrations of what that logic means in practice. Thank you.

    I wonder if you can seamlessly export Figma prototypes to Qt/QML and magically just work like they work in Figma ..including variables, modes, styles, variants, states, auto layout .. whatever you can do in Figma to be replicated (after export) in Qt. For that matter it can be any actual application framework: react, ios, android etc.What would be the good of having this awesome flexibility to prototype in Figma if at he end of the day when you convert them to an actual app you lose the flexibility and be stuck with only one mode, or one variant etc.

    Totally unable to add min/max width. The option is simply not there. I get the variables icon to the right in the width section instead of an arrow. Does it have to be autolayout objects? So there's no way of adding min/max width for text columns for instance? Forced to add autolayout to every single column, or piece of text? What was Figma thinking here? Text has auto height and width properties as is.

    • @BringYourOwnLaptop
      @BringYourOwnLaptop  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Yeah, it's only for Autolayouts. They really want everyone to use Autolayouts for everything I guess. Not ideal. But maybe this will roll out to other frames/text boxes in the future.

    I need help! I have created some icons in figma and I wanted to export some of it but whenever I click on export, it says 'export in layers' and even if I go group them by Ctrl+G then click to export, it's only exporting an icon rectangle or maybe color but not the whole icon. I'm confused, how to export the entire icon?

    Do wish Adobe could hurry up and blow some floating palette magic into Figma. That variable panel is terribly static. Can't scale it, can't dock it, can't minimize it, it doesn't overflow etc. It just grows and grows and before you know it it's occupying 65% of your screen estate when viewed with sidebar and your constantly closing and opening it cause it's getting in the way no matter where your positioning it. For a UX tool Figma is not very user friendly 😨
