The glossy paint application and sculpt reminds me of the CZcamsr Dimwitteddinobot who years ago made phenomenal symbiote customs like this. Great to see customizers still doing stuff like this.
You should try mixing in either a bit of mineral spirits or isopropyl alcohol to the silicone. It will thin it out depending on how much you add but still be able to cure/dry. Might make it easier to work with.

That head is so creative. Maybe for the body you could try painting it black first before adding the silicone to select areas for the effect. Great concept tho!
Good idea, that'd make the goo effect more obvious instead of the same texture throughout
I think next time for something like the chest symbol, paint the symbol on first so you can get the clean lines with something easier to work with and then texture with the silicone, I know there's a way to thin out silicone as well which would def make it easier to use.

Your spidey is a nice attempt but like you said, proportions are off and the black silicone doesnt have the right look for venom goo. The expressive headsculpt is the main highlight of this video though! It looks amazing

Perhaps a non binding layer on the area of the symbol (sort of like taping off an area before painting) might have made the symbol easier to pull off.

I've been thinking about how on earth could I make a 1/6 symbiote custom, and then suddenly you upload THIS video. The outcome looks AMAZING man. Would there be a difference using a Phicen body over a Jiaou body?

Quality-wise, Phicen has a better skeleton than Jiaou. I only chose Jiaou for this body because the physique is different. The body sculpt is different, that's all.

That expression thing is something else, I almost understand it. You'll be designing faster than printing. Guess you can push and pull the sculpt during expressioning .
Looks like you had fun with the body , play is learning,(that's what I tell myself ) I noticed comments about thinning silicone, it can also be thickened ,(corn starch or flour something?? bigclive did video) less like sculpting raw egg.

The heads didn't match skin tone of the body either haha but I've learnt to not try and paint according to the body's color cos that would instead make the head look weird in the end. Yeah, that expression tool is reigniting my spark for 1/6 customs!

How is modifying models any different from modifying a figure tho? Lol that’s someone’s work too
You can only modify a figure one at a time so you are value adding to the figure with your skills and effort, plus people can always strip it down to see what base you used to identify the original maker. As for models, it can be easily modified with a few nudges to the point where the owner can't even recognize it, as demonstrated in this video, then mass produced as your own without giving credit to anyone.
