- Prithviraj Sukumaran and Fahadh Faasil are childhood buddies and they have fond memories of years. When Prithviraj joined us for an episode of the Galatta India Fans Festival, host Nayandeep Rakshit surprised him with a special video message from his friend Shaanu. Fahadh sent a sweet video for his brother Prithvi who got emotional seeing the same and they both reveals that Prithvi's first ever audition happened in Fahadh's house for his father Faasil sir. Nivin pauly was introduced to film industry by vineeth Sreenivasan. Infact Vineeth Sreenivasan introduced alot of youngsters to Malayalam film industry. So yeah nepotism is not a issue in malayalam industry.

Lovely message from Fahad. Actually, his comeback into films was something no-one would have expected. After his first film flopped (in which he was cast as a chocolate boy hero), there was an 8-year gap before he came back in a very unorthodox way and in his own terms. It was a gradual progress to where he is now. As far as Prithvi is concerned, it is his passion for films that has played a role in his success story. Very smart, hardworking and well-spoken.

In other words, let us hope all the Malayalam producers & directors DO NOT start chasing “The Pan Indian film” nonsense idea made up by the goofs in the media & start to add “stuff” in to the movies to “cater to a wider audience” like Prithviraj seem to want to do. What makes Malayalam cinema great js that you can FEEL the soil, the terrain, the history of Kerala when you watch the best of them.
