    Why do the tongue needs to be backward in the class 2, div 1, and not forward? we don't have to correct it in a forward position to correct in the same time the mandible which is in a retro position? Thank you so much!

    Ma'am incase of reverse bionator you said that tongue touches the palatal arch and further lead to forward growth? But is class 3 pts don't we require backward growth
    Also same is the case with class2 div 1 pts won't the forward growth of mandible help?

      Same doubt here

    • @jineeshakurian1800
      @jineeshakurian1800 Před 4 lety

      Tongue touches the palate and the anteroir advancement of the maxilla(retruded maxilla) and have a restrictive effect on the further mandibular growth so for the same reason we can't use it in class 2 div 1
