Mam if the patient is already a vertical grower and we are giving a 'v' type of contstruction bite.. will not it effect the facial profile of the patient by furthur increasing the vertical facial height of the patient??

No. v activator is already indicated for vertical growth pattern in class 2 div 1 malocclusion. And it is used for slight mandibular forward movement. It will not effect the facial profile. Because the given movement to mand. is less so activator is given of more vertical opening.
