I have had several questions on what the jars contain on my vanity. The cut glass sugar bowl contains hand and body lotion and the milk glass jam jar was the perfect size for my face cream. Also, I have tried the wax and soap method in my drawers, but there is a metal wire glide on the top of each side of each drawer that ships away at the base. It doesn’t help. This is a temporary solution until I find the perfect vanity. Thank you all so much for your help!
My husband had an old machine in his house before we got married but we donated it. Now they are so sought after and are put to great uses. TFS love your chanel.

This turned out great! As a teenager [many yrs ago], I had my grandma's sewing table in my bedroom that I used as decor. it didn't have all of the cool drawers like your model does. I also love the green color. The vanity tray looks pretty. I also put my make-up brushes, eyeliners,etc. in pretty vintage vessels! I have my "girl" bathroom and then there is the "boy" bathroom. Love your creativity and videos. Thanks for sharing!

Jamir, this is a great idea for a vanity. My grandmother had a sewing machine just like this one. It looked so beautiful and practical once you put everything together. Love it.
If you take a cheap old candle and rub the edges of the drawers with it , it will help them glide in and out a bit easier. It’s a beautiful set up, fantastic job! 🙌🏽💁🏻♀️

Oh my word, that is so creative with the lotions and such. I have tons of dishes like that and will have to give it a try. If you use a bar of soap and rub the bottoms of the drawers they will pull in and out easier.

I use sugar bowls with lids to put my q tips in and other kinds of things. Repurpose. I like it.

I would've never thought to put lotion into little jars or dispensers. It's brilliant! I have noticed my big lotions stop pumping after a while and the container still has product at the bottom. I think I'll try cutting the plastic and scooping out the lotion...now to find a pretty container to put it in.
Very beautiful my husband just bought me one for my birthday ( February 14) it doesn’t have the wood top it has a very strong crystal and I decorated with some vintage items and I love it 🥰 thanks for sharing

Love how this turned out. I noticed the drawers weren't sliding in and out
easy for you. Take a votive candle and rub the candle around the edges
of the drawer several times. Also if you can reach inside the cabinet rub the
candle around in there too. Slide the drawer back in and open and close it
a few times you'll notice it will open and close easier.
This is a great idea on old dressers works like charm

I have already done that, but it has skinny metal wire type bumpers on them that catch. So the wax doesn’t help.
Have you tried WD 40 a little goes a long way ( past improvement gone wild ) lol

The whole space looks so lovely starting with the mirror and the sewing desk are both amazing peices. And then all your lovely additions on top. It is so nice to have a space all for yourself to get ready
Looks cute, I wish I had a space other than the bathrm to get myself together. I have an antique small dresser that the drawers would stick. I rubbed the wood rails with a candle, now they move smoothly.

You might be able to rub (white) candle over the bottom of the drawers where they are sticking so they will slide better. The kind of candle you use in an emergency kit.
Love all the pieces you used on top. Smart way to line the drawers and I like the re-use item for the beauty blender. Smart!

I've just bought my dream dressing table, Thrifted of course! I picked up an old tray like yours, only round, to put really pretty perfume bottles on and of course a beautiful jug or vase of flowers. Flowers are a must. 🌹🌷🌻🍀🌸🌾🌼🌿 ✌ xx

It's really pretty but watching the way your supports were moving I don't think the drawers are going to hold up for dailey use. I have my husband's grandmother's old machine. It still works but it does need a new belt and the drawers are in really bad condition.
It’s missing a couple of metal clips on the bottom that hook to the iron. My husband is working on a fix. 😉
