I was thinking the same as others here, why does the dial appear to be from the 50's with 70 years of buildup on the dial? I think I may have figured it out, it's an actual sliver of turquoise stone as the dial. Ok, before I posted, I did some digging, 45 minutes worth, and this is indeed an actual turquoise stone face. Gorgeous watch, just wish he would state these little (this was actually a big fact as we all want to know what the dirt is on the face of this brand new watch) facts in the review.

Oh my god who tried to size the bracelet of that poor watch? The screws are all beaten up and the surfaces around the screws on the links are heavily scratched... what a shame :(

Excuse my ignorance but the dial looks like it’s got dirt or corrosion across it. Did I miss something here?
