    I really enjoyed your video, I had 3 similarly titled videos queued up to watch after this but don't feel the need to anymore because of just how insightful and informative yours was. The effort you put into producing this shows. I passed the Cloud Practitioner exam in December 2019, and now after 2 years of cloud operations experience, I am ready to continue my certification path by obtaining the SysOps Administrator Associate cert. I really appreciated your comment about being clinical with our certification choices, I am glad I have taken my time with mine and I wholeheartedly agree with the concept of using certs to validate knowledge and not acquire it. I've subscribed and liked and look forward to consuming more of your content soon. All the best Ilyas, thank you!

    If you're coming from a completely different industry (i.e. medical, real estate, hospitality)and are looking to transition into IT via AWS, would learning via the cloud practitioner cert not be an advantageous way to acquire knowledge first? What would you suggest if none of your previous nor current job experience is tech related at all?

God bless you all

    • @WinTheCloud
      @WinTheCloud  Před 2 lety +1

      Fantastic! Networking is paramount to the functioning of the cloud, and yet, it's not something that many people want to specialize in because it's not as "sexy" as AI/ML or Serverless. So in my opinion, if Networking is your forte, then you'll have a big advantage in the field. As for the certs, well, how about something that touches on networking but indirectly like the CKA ;) www.cncf.io/certification/cka/
