The 1864 Arizona abortion law was created before the shootout at the OK Corral with Doc Holliday, who was a dentist who had tuberculosis and coughed all over his patients. That's how much they knew about medicine back when the Arizona abortion law was created, that a dentist didn't even know he was giving his patients tuberculosis.

I made the mistake of reading the Arizona Supreme Court ruling. The majority judges did not apply appropriate legal interpretation of statutes but instead leaned on their own political/religious biases and made up "textual ambiguities" to justify their preconceived bigotry.
The 2022 Arizona law on abortion states
A. Except in a medical emergency, a physician may not perform, induce or attempt to perform or induce an abortion unless the physician or the referring physician has first made a determination of the probable gestational age of the unborn human being and documented that gestational age in the maternal patient’s chart and, if required, in a report required to be filed with the department . . . .
B. Except in a medical emergency, a physician may not intentionally or knowingly perform, induce or attempt to perform or induce an abortion if the probable gestational age
of the unborn human being has been determined to be greater than fifteen weeks
According to the majority of the Arizona Supreme Court that is not clear, the words "except" and "unless" are capable of multiple meanings which could be held by reasonable people.
This is total nonsense and the judges should be ashamed of their convoluted reasoning, instead they will be proud of it
Women of Arizona can thank trump for the ban.

Deciding if or when to have children is an economic consideration! Forcing women to have children takes them out of the workplace. This is male rage for having to compete with women for jobs. The cruelty is also based in male desire to control all production. The one thing men can't do is produce life except to force women to have children.
I observed these facts in childhood. My parents had to sell their home in 1957 to pay the doctor bills acquired after their 3rd child was born. They struggled ever after.
