The first two episodes feature World Cup and Champions League winner Thierry Henry who joins Kate Abdo, Clint Dempsey and Charlie Davies to discuss the pressures of his leadership at Arsenal and the effect that had on his mental health.
This episode sees the crew delve deeper into their emotions as Thierry Henry highlights the importance of talking about your feelings. Clint Dempsey shares an emotional story about losing his sister and how that drove him during his career, while Charlie Davies describes how his car accident and battle with cancer changed him in a monumental way.

2 episodes in and Kate has already broken down barriers for 3 very successful men like it was a therapy session. It's such a refreshing conversation. Much love to her capabilities and the group of people to begin with.
Pulitzer prize interview by Kate. She lead that talk and was in full control by listening and she sensed the mood. Brilliant.

Kate is really good at her job. Her ability to read the moment, give space when its needed, and facilitate the conversation is elite.
So wild to hear that from Clint. Everyone in England made fun of Rob Green for that blunder in 2010, then there's Clint thinking, maybe he had a little help from above.

We tend to forget that professional football players are human beings. We watch them week in week out kicking the ball, expecting them to perform at their best, but we just forget that they are people with their own lives and struggles.
Thierry Henry has been my favourite football player ever. I really appreciate being able to hear him share and get to know the other side of him as a person.

I’m a gooner and Thierry is my idol. Just wanna say that Clint Dempsey made me cry during this interview. I think I have some stuff I also need to get off my chest and this has pushed me to get a councillor. I hope that anyone else struggling realises that you aren’t alone and help from others is very useful. We have one life. I will update on my progress over time. I have my first session in 2 days and I’m terrified. Sorry if this seems a bit all over the place 😂. Big love everyone

Charlie life story really makes us think about all the times we said "Man my life suck" or "Why always me", then u hear this man talk and realise that some of us are soo lucky and ungrateful
People always clowning on Kate's American accent but that's an amazing talent. She's so naturally gifted at communicating she subconsciously changes her accent and speech patterns to match the vibe of the conversation. Not to mention she speaks how many languages? Kate's the best in the biz.
And she worked at Gregggg s I love this woman sooooo talented and will say it the best woman presenter on TV .. all day long … amazing talent quick thinking woman ❤ fab role model for me ..!!!! 😂🎉x

Dempsey is the greatest US player of all time. Claudio Reyna is second. However, if he thinks about Henry’s level he will always thinks he hasn’t done enough. 99% of players haven’t reached Henry’s level.
Landon Donovan was playing Tennis 😂😂

I am sorry to say but arguably Landon Donovan is the best USMNT player of all time.

I think you have a great argument, but when Landon Donovan took that US jersey on then he was ‘him’. He has second most games and top all time goal scorer (tied with Dempsey) and most assists for the USMNT. He was pretty much clutch when he was needed.
However I agree when it to comes club football.
First, the setting. Top notch. It feels etheral. Its not neutral... its beyond. its peaceful. Welcoming. Ready for anything. Second. This is the type of material that people, in the age of missinformation, we have been striving for. Talk about a Golazo. This... More of these... pass the tears and all the onslaught of emotions. This. Again and again and again. Thank you.
This is such a wonderfully meaningful conversation, and we definitely need to have more conversations like this not just in football but every aspect of life. Great to see that personal and truly human side of professional footballers. They are revered and bring so much joy to others due to their talent and status. However, their effects have made people forget that they are humans just like us. Especially in the age of social media where folks think they can treat people in whatever way, these sorts of conversations are pivotal.

Thierry has such a beautiful way of connecting with others on a human level which is very endearing to see especially when you hear about his upbringing. Kate (this goes without saying) is a wonderful facilitator and always has thought-provoking questions. charlie and dempsey ...wow, i didn't know much about them but i am glad that i do now. great conversation guys!
my respect for henry has gone even higher, this is why i wear the 14 shirt, the mindset is so relatable, forget just the footballer... its the way he thinks, its not like others, even the leader thing, glad to hear someone relatable speaking, this message has to come from the right person. great video. interview lady did great got a exclusive

I can't speak for any other part of the world but as a lifelong us citizen and a lifelong footballer/football fan, I have never seen better soccer/football content than what CBS is putting out at the moment. It is unmatched and on the same level, if not higher, than any other sport content. Amazing stuff! Thank you!
This is certainly one of the most beautiful video I’ve seen on CZcams! And as Thierry said it bast, it’s because people shared their own personal life, they were vulnerable and had empathy for each other. It takes a lot of courage to do that. Love you all ❤️

I remember Charlie Davies at Confederations cup and on the US team. He really had talent and was looking forward to seeing him at the WC. I remember the accident but had never heard about his struggles growing up, or the cancer. Great guy that went through a lot. Great show both parts.
