Sol de Janeiro Review! Which one is best?

- Hi everyone! For today's video I'm doing a quick review/compare & contrast of the different Sol de Janeiro body creams! The three creams I have are the coco cabana cream, the Brazilian bum bum cream, and the acai body powder cream. They recently came out with a nude, scentless cream thats made for more sensitive skin, but I haven't tried that one out yet.

The only thing I kind of disagree with is the Acai body cream. I don't think the scent is very strong; in fact, I think it's the weakest of the three (or four if you include the new Bom Dia Bright Cream). But I definitely agree that it does not fit with the other scents. I think it has more of a lotion-y smell, and not in a good way. Maybe that's why it seems stronger? I don't smell the intended scent as much as I do that lotion smell, and that kinda upsets my nose. I do like the shimmer and it is fairly hydrating, but those are the only reasons I'd even consider buying it again. I probably won't, but my mom on the other hand likes the smell and the cream, so I wouldn't say don't try it at all. I do also really like the Coco Cabana smell (not as much as Bum Bum though), but I only have the mini ones of both the old and new formulas so I don't use it all over. I use it mostly on my inner thighs to help with chafing and to prevent it from getting worse. It does really help, and the old formula burned and got red at first (to be fair, it was already irritated skin), but it went away soon and the new formula doesn't seem as bad. The new one is also less sticky.
ALSO, if anyone is interested in the new Bom Dia Bright Cream, I got a free little jar of it with a recent purchase and now they give out free samples with your orders. The smell is a little perfumey and strong at first, the biggest downside, but it tones down and it does smell really good when it does. It definitely fits with Bum Bum and Cabana, though it's more of a darker, maybe even "night" scent. Its sweet, but in a more serious rather than playful way, if that makes any sense. The others (minus acai) are like having fun on the beach in the day, Bom Dia is like the boardwalk at night, where you're still having fun, but its a different kind of fun thats more subdued. I literally just got it today so I don't know if it actually helps the bumps and stuff like its supposed to, but if nothing else, the smell is great. I think the formula is somewhere between Bum Bum and Cabana, its not whipped and fluffy, but its a little more solid than Cabana. Overall I'd say its more "wet" like Cabana, just not sticky and it's a little thicker. The scent also lasts a while, like most of their products, and I think it feels pretty hydrating, at least on my hands. It absorbs fast and doesn't leave my hands sticky or weird like Coco Cabana can. Sorry for the little tangent, I'm just excited about it and (as long as it works well on my legs) will probably be buying a bigger size when I run out of the small jar

The yellow one is full of shimmer too
Compare the yellow cream with the terquois one, then you’ll know which ingredient you’re allergic to

They are meant for your body, but if you don’t have a reaction I don’t see why you couldn’t use it for your face🙂

I JUST but the coco cabana one on my face and it instantly started burning! 😱 Which is why I went to YT, I was wondering if it happened to anyone else. I guess I'm allergic as well 😞
I’m finding out that quite a few people are having problems with that one😭 one of the ingredients must be a common allergen but idk which one it is😭
You shouldn't be using body lotions on your face. That most definitely added to the reaction, try buying a fragrance free FACIAL moisturizer to use on your face.
