- "Night and Day!" That's Eck's favourite Cole Porter song and the one he meant to mention to close this pod as that's the difference in Rangers before and after Philippe Clement. But he forgot to mention it coz it was that kind of night against Ross County; "only" almost perfect.

I've figured it out Alec. We need to keep Dessers in the Cryochamber watching re-runs of Heat on endless loop until we unleash him for matches. He'll transform into a cold killer in the box.
Forwarding this to Bisgrove right now. A season-transforming suggestion. Cyriel will now regard every opposing goalie in exactly the same way Neil regards Waingro - someone who must be removed from existence. A hat-trick will be two to the heart and one to the skull.
"Look at me..."
"Look at me!"
"It's a marathon and not a sprint". I think it's a good thing to be tucked in there in second place and breathing down the rival's neck.
Great banter as always, Alex 💙. Keep up the great work.
I love the Copland road end
It’s the Traditional Rangers
end .. I’ve been in there for a long time , but it definitely can have some bears that don’t hold back on some criticism at times …
But i would not move anywhere else 🙌
It's full of rough boys and naughty girls, Ken. My mum told me not to sit there.
in fact, to prove the point, sometimes they don't even sit!
Dessers, what a striker 👏 👌
He used to get none, then he got ones - now he's on braces so we know his next phase is...
hat-tricks.
SHall I Compare thee to a summers day nah bloody winters tale good win joint top😊
😃👏👏👏outstanding, Robbie. 👍
Excellent as usual sir! We're joint top of the league. League cup's in the bag, still in Europe and Scottish cup. What's not to like? And yet, there's a whole load of people out there, who claim they're Rangers supporters, looking for every negative they can find, week in week out, to destroy the good vibes. Turn on, tune in or drop out! Get behind the team.
Brilliant stuff
Big Eck belting out the tunes , and continuing to work wonders for DVD sales of HEAT …. What more can you ask for 😂
On a cold and wet evening at Ibrox , Rangers done the job , 3 crucial points are in the big bluenose bag ! … Unbelievable how nervy it went at 1-1 , but when you read the stats we were never in doubt …
But when seeing the game live it certainly brings an emotional set of views and criticism at times when it certainly isn’t warranted … We are all just very invested in Rangers , esp at Ibrox …. So apologies Lunny , some of my fellow Copland bears really do mean well .. 🐻
🤣👍Brilliant, Sonnie. Aye, Lunny certainly didn't seem to hold any grudges, judging by the way he celebrated with the Copland when we went 2-1 up. Like you, mate, he gets it. Yer spot-on about the nerves being crazy last night - especially when the Ross County goalie picked a night we were thinking about a three-goal win to have the best game of his life. What I love is that, at the end of all the madness and nerves - the entertainment, the frustration, the relief and the worries - we're carving out the most beautifully boring, straightforward run of form possible: W,W,W,W,W,W,W,W.
Big Phil is treating the players like Vincent Hanna treats his informants: "GIMMEE ALL YA GOT! GIMMEE ALL YA GOT!"
😂😂 … spot on ! 👌
Calm down Alec as Phil said we are on a journey ..come May ...Will u still be wearing that wooly hat I wonder...all will fall into place with us as champions I have no doubts ..brilliant as usual Alec 😅😅
😆Cheers, sir 👍I'm thinking of mibbee getting the hat stitched on, George so there can be no chance of it falling off even by accident. Welded on, in fact! Big Phil has us several stops further on than I expected us to be so early in the journey. Who would ever have thought it would all be down to just a single goal by mid-Feb. Hats the way - uh-huh, uh-huh - I like it!
Great analysis yet again. Simply why do we let teams score when they only really create 1 chance. When it appears we need 28 on target to get 3 goals
Cheers, James. Gentleman. I just watched the Sportscene highlights and heard the stat about the Ross County goalie making four more saves than any goalie in any (Scottish top flight?) match since Opta Stats began. Nuts. I suppose another way of looking at it is the chance creation - we're blowing teams off the park in terms of those particular stats. The "execution in both boxes" which was such a problem under Beale won't be eradicated overnight but, frustrating as it is to see us miss so many clear cut chances, the main thing is Big Phil, in every game of 2024 so far, has us scoring more than our opponent: the most important stat of all.
ffs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sonnet 14 Alex. Or else of thee this I prognosticate: Thy end is truth and beauty's doom and date.
I like our style. Like Dennis Taylor, we understand that you don't need to take the lead until the final black ball.
Beautifully put, Derek. We're a Steve Davis (of the green baize rather than the green shirt), Nick Faldo, Jose Mourinho, grind-out-consistence-with-sustained-competence-rather-than-rhythm-sapping-isolated-moments-of-spectacular-overachievement kinda outfit. Except for Betis away, we're all iambic pentameter rather than free verse.
Although, surely Dennis Taylor has to prefer sonnet 147:
For I have sworn thee fair, and thought thee bright,
Must sink the black as well, but not the white.
I wish you would be a Little bit more indepth with your post match reaction .Chicago to the Colosseum SUPERB..
🤣Had to cut it short so I could get back onto Edmiston Drive before the players left the building, Stuart. Okay, it turns out they leave from the Copland these days but I hurled a shark at the Main Doors anyway. Showing you care is the important thing...
Thanks for giving it the time, sir. Appreciated.👍
Super content as per
Wtf is this guy on? I feel dizzy after listening to him
I normally quite hard in team but I think yes I am a wee bit disappointed we didn't win by more to go top but then I genuinely felt we played better than we have in long time.
There's no point being top last night, then draw at the weekend, and it's all for nothing. We are progressing well, and I feel confident
Well said, Nicola. Totally agree. Big Phil is still ironing out the rough edges but, as you say, in general we are improving so much. Would've been lovely to get one more goal last night but if both halves of the Old Firm continue on their current trajectories, we'll not be relying on goal difference a few months down the line. Perfectly placed.
