I don’t think you realize how everyone sings along to Lil Jon verse, it’s a callback and everyone at the club sings along. It goes HARD.
facts.. this that 20 years later "what you know about this song, youngin?" type of song .
Lil Jon: I’ve been knowin’ ya for a long time.
Everybody: SHAWTY!
How can you not love it? And look at him rapping about consent! Ahead of his time, y’all.
Right, he says “i would never ever cross the line, shawty let me here ya tell me one more time!”
Then straight into “tell me again, can we be lovers and friends?”
Tell me that’s not legit!
This was obviously my jam or is my jam lol whateves 🤩
Lil jon is my second favorite verse behind ushers
Everyone's fave to yell was "UP IN THE BATHTUB RUBBADUBBY"
The song "Yeah" was the first Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris made together.
Weren’t they released the same year though?
Y’all gotta listen to Lil Jon... he’s the talking that shit. He’s the prince of ghetto nursery rhymes.
This was sampled by Lovers and Friends by Michael Sterling. However, Usher, Luda and Lil' John made it their own.
@@JackReacts904 gotta hear michael sterling. Very unique vocals. He write and produced mostly, but he has 4 or 5 great songs he sings
What You Have to Check out is "Do You Mind " the Chris Brown sample
This song like an older song
Wow I never knew this was a sample
The original was fire too!!!
Ludacris verse goes so hard
OKAYY?? Lol
@Simba Simba they do i just wrote this while Ludacris part was playing
Atlanta classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥 When Usher performs this at any Atlanta show, they can just stand there and point the mic at the crowd and let us sing. Always a favorite! Tons of concert memories to this!
OMG, I'm surprised to see you in the comments! I hope you've been doing okay.
But yes, definitely an Atlanta classic!
“Sometimes I wanna be yo lover.. sometimes I wanna be yo friend”.... Ayeeeeee! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #Luda
Ooo, this is so high school era for me. Goooodness!
Jon's verse went off in the club. At this time he was the king of Crunk. Very appropriate for 2004 lol
Usher, Ludacris & lil Jon all did what they needed to do. Each part was a vibe fo sho. I wouldn’t change nothing about this song. This my shit 😂
Pure example showing how music will always bond us as human beings.
i like lil jon's verse, i think everyone did their thing.
Most ppl did
I think as i got older i liked his verse less and less idk what happened 🤣🤣🤣
I’m not a Lil Jon fan; never have been. He’s the one I’ve always ignored on this track! 🤷🏾♀️🙂
@@AckeeandSaltfish you got to love it his verse is all about consent
This was their 2nd collab after Usher's "Yeah". This was on Lil Jon's Crunk Juice album 🔥🔥🔥
Ahhh.. 6th grade memories 😭🙌🏽 Their first song was “Yeah”, which is why they said “And Usher, Jon and Luda has to do it again..” ❤️🔥
And don’t sleep on Lil Jon verse.. EVERYBODY LOVES HIS VERSE!! It’s about consent and the hypest part of the song 🔥
Not Everybody! 🤷🏾♀️🙂✌🏾
@@salwashabazz7329 😒
this is actually Lil Jon's song...he made the beat as well...if you hear it in the context of the album, Lil Jon being on it would make more sense..its also the follow up to Yeah by Usher featuring Luda, produced by Lil Jon...thats why he said "do it again"
The first song they did together was “Yeah” and they have a new one called “SexBeat”
Jack, Lil Jon is actually a super producer who is credited with inventing “crunk music” and also had a big hand in creating what we now call “trap music”. He is also responsible for producing some of Usher’s, Ludacris’, and Ciara’s biggest hit songs, among other artists. 😎
By far one of the best reaction channels. You should react to Teena Marie- “Portuguese Love” next
I absolutely love this song. Usher verse is my favorite. I always rewind his part. His voice is like butter on this. I love the tell me again part. I’m not to crazy about lil Jon part. The song is smooth af and he kind of changed the vibe/mood for me. Luda part is good asf too.
This is why I still call him URSHER! 😁 His vocals were amazing and Ludacris did his thang as always! They were the reason I was into this song! 💙✌🏾
(Not a Lil Jon fan; then or now🤷🏾♀️)
I’m a few years older so I remember how this song (especially Lil Jon’s verse) HITS!! This song knocked in the car & I’d imagine the club.
This is an urban CLASSIC
React to Usher, Beyoncé, and Lil Wayne- Love In This Club Remix
The club use to go crazy when this song came on. Women loved this song
Classic song. True T. My 65 year old mother was singing along to this song this morning while cooking collard greens and oxtails.
“Yeah” is the first song this trio did.
“SexBeat” is the latest song they did
You definitely have to do more Ludacris.
Check out these Ludacris songs.
Southern Hospitality produced by Pharrell
Stand Up produced by Kanye West
What’s your Fantasy ft Shawna
Made You Look Remix by Nas ft Ludacris and Jadakiss
The song that started it all was Usher Yeah ft Luda and lil john
Usher🙌There goes my baby,
Trading places,
Dive,
usher and beyonce - Love in the club remix
One of the best remixes to a song. 🔥🔥
Better than the original
You should do Yeah by Usher..this same trio but uptempo and its a banger! Good reaction.
I wish they made a video for this!! When it came out it was such a major hit!!! Definitely one of my favorite collabs!!!
When this first came Lil Jon's part was everybody's favorite
omg Lil Jon verse was the most fun verse to sing with my friends riding in the car lol. Btw theres a remix of this w/Pitbull, thats good too. He raps in Spanish and English on it.
You should react to Ludacris - Southern Hospitality (neptunes track) or Rollout. Classic videos.
It’s crazy I remember Usher when he started out as Usher Raymond as a kid on Starsearch back in the day. Can you do a reaction to “I Don’t Ever Want To See You Again “ by an artist named Uncle Sam.
yes!!
Common Jack you really thought Lil Jon was talking about Butt stuff 😂. That made me LOL so hard. I have heard this song so many times and never interpreted it that way until you did🤣
"Yeah" (the first collab between these three) was a HUGE hit, that song was everywhere man. I think that one fit Lil Jon a lot more, it's way more up tempo, it was a club song.
I clicked so fast 😅 happy you reacted to this song! One of my faves!
They did “Yeah!” Prior to this song I believe. Usher release a new song last summer called “Sex Beat” with Luda and Lil Jon. It’s cool, but it’s not this. 😂
Almost the worst possible sequel to the L&F possible. Im so sad that JD created such a mediocre song as a successor to such a classic
@@alus992 music industry is losing its creativity :(
@@claytonclaymagic I mean I know that first one is such a gem because of the sample but both JD and Lil Jon are super talented producers so I couldn't believe how basic that song was - especially after hearing snippets of Esher's new album from JD sessions.
I love how you get into the song and when you feel it, it shows in your facial expressions. The genuine reaction, i'm here for it alll!!!
Please do Usher - My Way
Usher was the first time I felt the real superstar effect. I went to his concert as a kid kid in 2005 and I couldn’t believe the energy.
This is actually a lil jon song that he produced and wrote but check out "Yeah" with usher and luda that was the first one right there
That lil jon n the eastside boys album went haard!! “Ooh na na naa naa” I had no business throwin shit up to “throw it up” and Pastor Troy hitss.. with his “vica versa”
You buggin. Lil John verse is legendary on the scene
That song always put a smile on my face everytime I listened to it! 😍😊 Love it more when I watched them singing it live!
I literally busted out laughing when you started the lil jon part. Butt or but?! Lmao
This song is actually from LIl Jon album... picture him to be like Quincy Jones in the regards of he made a album but had other artists to actually be on the album. Like a super producer
The trio did Yeah together! Great song!
Low key, Luda might be the GOAT guest spot rapper on an R&B track. He was guaranteed to drop a whole volcano on your sh*t
I enjoyed old Usher video’s, I didn’t really start liking Usher until I purchased Usher Bedtime album and he’s been a fave male vocalist of mine’s. When I started realizing I could actually sting I was always told I sounded like Brian McKnight I guess because I have a high pitched tone...🤷🏽♂️
This song......
I have no words. This was. My. Damn. S o n g. I can SANG. My A S S off on this song. 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾
You know what gives off the same vibe as this song? Bedroom Boom by Ying Yang Twinz. That's wild hip hop baby makin right there. This is definitely my favorite of the 2 but if you like this definitely check that out.
The original Lovers and Friends was done by Michael Sterling back in the early 90s and it's a complete vibe!!
2004, Usher was the king of music
This is a throwback right here my guy! 🙌🏽🔥
React to silk meeting in my bedroom
Ludacris has a sexy flow so he was perfect for this song
Usher - love in this club
Classic. Watch the verzus between Lil John and T-Pain and you'll be surprised all the songs Lil John produced 🤯
Man....bro! They said what they said. Overall. its what the people felt. At the time all of em were breaking the charts. And....Urrrsher, baby! Yaasss!
Yea the first time these three hooked up was for Usher's smash hit "Yeah" which came out not long before this. Its his biggest commercial hit and one of the biggest songs of the 2000s. They still play that in the club.
I love this song so much
Lil Jon is Lil Jon that's who he is that's what he's gonna give you 🙌🏾
React to Freddy Jackson-“rock me tonight” and “ you are my lady”.
Or “jam tonight”🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Or have ever loved somebody, or love is just a touch
Yes!!! Used to write this song on my letters in High School lol.. Song still goes 🔥🔥🔥
React to Brian McKnight back at one
I love Usher's version but please check out the original by Michael Sterling. It's so smooth.
This was such a hit when it dropped, I'm still annoyed they never made a music video. Wish you reacted to Usher's "Yeah!" before this one but you wouldn't know that one came first. Now you gotta watch it though lol. "Lovers and Friends" is the third single from Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz' album Crunk Juice; it peaked at #3 on the Hot 100.
Please react to:
Usher - Yeah! (feat Ludacris & Lil Jon), Crash, Twisted (feat Pharrell)
Ludacris - What's Your Fantasy (feat Shawnna), Southern Hospitality, Area Codes (feat Nate Dogg)
Lil Jon - I Don't Give a Fuck (feat Mystikal and Krayzie Bone), Get Low (feat Ying Yang Twins)
Trillville - Neva Eva (feat Lil Jon and Lil Scrappy), Some Cut (feat Cutty)
Trick Daddy - Let's Go (feat Twista and Lil Jon)
Mobb Deep - Got It Twisted, Real Gangstaz (feat Lil Jon)
Brooke Valentine - Girlfight (feat Lil Jon)
This was really somewhat of a joke record. You can't take it too seriously. Just be entertained and chuckle lol. Also at one time, there was talk of the three of them doing a whole project together but it never went anywhere.
That was the jam back in the day.
Another song takes me waaaay back 🔥🔥🔥
was just listening to this song and watching you react to it for the first time just warmed my whole ❤
Have you heard Usher's song Yeah! Same lineup. All 3 artist blend well with each other
React to Quincy Jones secret garden ft berry white al b sure sweet seduction suite
Silent Prayer- Shanice(a song that she made for the soldiers who fought in the first Iraq war)
Oh yeah! I haven’t heard it in years but it’s on one of my homemade recorded cassettes! 😊 Classic!
I think that’s Johnny Gill singing the chorus too...
@@salwashabazz7329 Yes it is Johnny Gill
Great reaction! Please react to Usher "Bad Habits." It was released last fall.
This is a straight jam! I think of it as the flip-side of Yeah!
Always loved this song. Didnt fancy Lil Jon's verse but it aight. You definitely misinterpreted that part. That had never crossed my mind😂😂
Love this 🔥🔥
SNAP YO FINGAS!!! LIL JON!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact this is Lil John song off his album
Moving mountains is a most def by Usher. Maybe not his biggest hit but definitely Recommended.
Usher - Love In This Club (part 2) ft. Beyoncé & Lil Wayne
This was played at my senior prom during the king and queen dance. Throwback!!
RUFF ENDZ - SOMEONE TO LOVE YOU 😍
I played this song out when it was first released! Instant classic!
MY WAY...The video version of Usher's song is dope too! I can't wait for you to get in to CASE particularily HAPPILY EVER AFTER
This song is _sooo_ wavy! ❤️
Lil Jon part is very essential 💯 #CULTURE
That would be the biggest song of 2004, the hallmark song of my year in Paris, Yeah.
😲Oooooh. LOVE DIS CHOOON! DIS ONE IS A BOMB💣SHELL! BRRAPP BRRAPP!!!!! ⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Lovers and friends should of be on confessions album this song is a classic.
I love your picks lately Jack! You getting in to the good stuff! All the songs that stay on my playlist😁
I see where you're coming from with this reaction to Lil Jon as I watch you react to it for the first time lol I see comments where people don't like your reaction but my opinion is, you can't be held accountable for what you didn't experience yourself. Lil Jon was HUGE at this time and this song was on everybody's mix cds! You provide a fresh perspective on music that shaped us. Keep doing your thing!
I have this song on my iPod when I was 10 years old
This song is really Great😍
The thing to remember is that this was produced by Lil Jon for his Crunk Juice album..so he had to have a vocal contribution to it. That whole album was 🔥🔥🔥
I don't get how he didn't understand Lil Jon's verse. The song is called Lovers and Friends. That's what each verse was about. It's that cliche where you're just friends and out of nowhere, you become attracted to them, start crushing or catching feelings. All you gotta do is LISTEN. Jon is more of a producer than rapper, but when he raps, I still like it.
Usher - Throwback
This shit is the jammest of slow jamz. Untouchable.
A lot of atlanta teenagers running around don't know they were conceived to this song.
You should def do more Usher Baby! ❤️
