You’ve just cracked the door to an amazing rabbit hole that is Little Feat. This hole is filled with great treasures of music. There are a number of albums filled with some of life, strife, politics and drug references of the ‘70’s. I highly recommend these songs: Feats Don’t Fail Me Now, Willin’, Tripe Face Boogie, and my favorite Spanish Moon (the best version is a later one released on their Join the Band CD). Your face may freeze with a residual smile as you spelunk your way along. Love your channel!!!

Sadly, on June 29, 1979, George collapsed and died of a heart attack in his Arlington, Virginia hotel room at the Twin Bridges Marriott. His heart attack was caused by an accidental cocaine overdose.
A speed ball is a mixture of cocaine and heroin and then injected and it;s what killed John Belushi.

Little Feat... another one of those bands that incorporates many different genres into their sound. Give a listen to the entire albums "Feats Don't Fail Me Now," "Waiting for Columbus" (one of the best live albums ever, with a much better version of Fat Man kicking it off), and even "Let it Roll" which was their first studio album after the death of Lowell George. I still listen to all three of these regularly, love them!
