For all of you who are confused with how to fight him when he's transformed: You only need to jump on his head! Making a curved jump and spinning is *not required*

ed weer Sorry I couldn't help you. I admit this battle was really tough for me, took me like 30 tries in total. In the end I purposely went down to 3 lives to have a double Aku-Aku to survive the shitty hitbox of the transformed professor because I couldn't pass the level otherwise

Crash just bounces off his head
He seemed so big and terrifying twenty five years ago. Admittedly he can be difficult to defeat without damaging yourself but he seems easier now.
His defeat animation is hilarious.
You know those classic cartoons where they sometimes try to fly when there about to fall

if i was a child playing this id be stuck on native fortress, i just beat the game today as a adult and man was it a beating on the last 6 levels especially slippery steps.

Brio is my favorite boss in CB1 ❤
Nothing beats the original PS1 sound design of Brio's green gorilla phase. Those screams were absolutely hilarious, as if the dude was deadlifting half a ton for reps.
Another great way to defeat him is as soon as he steps on the face’s forehead shown on the stone floor, jump directly onto his head. Make sure you jump as if you’re trying to land on his shoulders. His hit box is right in that area.
He skipped leg day for sure.

The solid flasks while they're being thrown made this boss harder than the PS1 fight.

It is said that Cortex Tower went ablaze after this battle, as the chemistry set that was knocked over knocked off one of the candles into the ground.
That’s a really good theory that one. I heard another one where it started after the battle with Pinstripe as his tommy gun fired a stray bullet straight for the reactor in the background after he was out cold.
This dude has handed me like five game overs. Him and the machine gun dude are THE WORST.

Pinstripe is easy.
Pinstripe is literally the eeaasiest, all you have to do is stay behind the chairs and spin on him when he switches from each side of the room and then stay behind the chairs till he reloads then spin him.
@RJ I struggled alot with it, because didn't know you can actually hide behind the furniture.

When I was a kid playing CB 1 Dr. Nitrus Brio was the hardest boss for me, died so many times. Until I realized you jump on his head when he transforms! The other boss's were easier than the levels themselves. We has great fun playing this on PS1
the most revised boss one on crash bandicoot.. in ps1 original version i thought the goo monster is the part of brio's body... but now it hurts brio by that squirting way

Man this fight is bullshit. Before he transforms is easy peasy but after that I don't know what the fuck to do. I keep jumping at his head - sometimes I damage him, sometimes I don't, sometimes he damages me. The lack of consistency pisses me off.
Pro his last phase got me so confused on how to defeat him thanks for the help

after he transformed i had no idea what to do so here i am lol
The fights in this game are so easy that they're difficult. Make sense? I've played platform games for decades, growing more and more used to modern mechanics, movement, timing and such, so to go back to a 90's style game, rather simplistic, just throws me off completely and I die in the easiest sections. 😂 I also expect things to be way more complicated than they are. No, just.. avoid, jump on his head.

If someone struggles with this:
Do not move when the green creatures jump on you. Just make a quick jump when the first one makes it's first jump on you so you land on it. Once you land, jump high but do not move, because you will land on the second green creature and so on. You don't have to wait for them to stop.
For explosives, you just walk a little.
Once Nitrus goes nuts, you just jump on a block and jump on his head/shoulder when he punches the floor. Don't jump on him when he stops. You don't need to move much or do any spin, etc. You have to be pretty close to ?!? to jump on it's head or you turn into angel. 😁

@@JordansTechCleaning Slippery Climb was difficult. I managed to complete it first by dying just before the end, so didn't get the gem. After that, I didn't save the game, so I had to play it about 100 times to finally complete it without dying but then I didn't take one difficult box and didn't get the gem. 😄

Worst fucking boss ever! That hitbox when he turns green is absolutely ridiculous. My god the stupidity of this level is through the fucking roof. JEEZ!
That's not even hard compared to the original boss fight...
SOTIDOOM no offense,but it sounds like you are complaining just for the heck of it,the boss isnt even that different from the original,both bosses were easy
crash bosses are literally the easiest levels of the game...crash 3 has much harder bosses. i found the N. gin boss in crash 3 to be one of the most challenging rest are easy. pretty sure they make the platforming hard but make the boss fights more fun with a slight challenge.
i dont get how people struggle with bosses its obvious you can tell devs make them to be more fun rather then hard. how did you even get this far as the platforming levels leading up to this are much harder...how people struggle with bosses and not the platforming is beyond me. i look forward to boss fights they're easy fun levels.
for e.g the hardest boss ive faced i failed twice and passed on my 3rd go, meanwhile hard platforming levels take triple the amount of lives on a good day. ive wasted 10+ lives on death routes etc never sone that on a boss fight.
I never got past the first few levels on the original so playing the remastered version makes me wonder what this scene looks like in the original

In the ps1 version there is a glitch where n brio second form was going very fast and would not be defeated after you hit him 6 times

Attack 1: Mixing Liquids
Attack 2: Shake Potions

Ski Chi: Drinking Potions and becomes Mutant Hulk.

Is it me or this remake feel kinda easier than ps1 version? I mean i remeber playing lots of hard ganes when i was a child but crash was a heart attack experince to me
