Well 21psi on a stock 5.7 finally caught up guys. However I believe we had a pushrod or valve spring failure that caused it not so much a actual piston or rod failure but we will find out soon lol. I want to thank all of you for supporting the channel and following the frostbite Ram build. We definitely got all we could out of the original 5.7 at 156k mileage and countless drag passes on it I couldn't even be mad the 5.7 served us more than fair💪. Huge thanks to Torqstorm superchargers the TS84 is definitely making some serious boost. Also frptuning.com for letting us push the limits. Also thanks to Cope Racing Transmissions for the baddest transmission to put this amount of power down💪
6.4 ready to go in yet ? Held up longer than I expected with that much boost
@charlespatterson2900 not yet not sure what the next move is just yet. But yeah the 5.7 did more than enough couldn't ask for more.
Cope racing transmissions, haven’t heard of them but if it can handle a large truck body with boost drag racing and out live the motor I might have to check them out thanks brother. Sorry about the unfortunate circumstances of events. Thanks for the content brother. 👍🏻

It was bound to happen eventually, just part of racing lol although I think the 5.7 more than proved itself worthy of boost. Keep up the great content! I know frostbite will be back to whooping up on chevys and fords again before too long!

Sorry to see this happen to anyone, as a fellow racer I've been here and know exactly how you feel. Take your time with the decision and remember you can always rebuild. The truck is in one piece and as you know, 5.7's are plentiful. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Logical reason, any daughter or family member would be worried or should be. People do die and get hurt occasionally doing this type of thing testing the limits even with safety equipment. Glad everybody is safe.
