the only thing i'd say about buying secondhand is that birks are designed to mold to your feet as you wear them! so gently used pairs would probably be best!

The White Mountain "Bari" dupes are an amazing alternative to the Birks 👍👍 Love these outfits too!! I live in these shoes in the fall.

@@nilasaid2631 I still love them and wear them all the time! They're my go to for nearly every day in fall+winter to work (so not doing a ton of walking in them), and they're still very comfortable. I will say that the White Mountain footbed shoes like those and their standard Birk dupes seem to develop a weird clicking noise after a while but I'm not sure what causes this and it doesn't affect the comfort or function of the shoe; it's not that annoying, I just happen to have noticed it in my three pairs.

honestly i dont really see the point in used birks. the cork sole has already conformed to someone elses foot shape
mine were very gently used when i got them and have been great for me since!! i think if they were super conformed already it would be different
