    Man you are HILARIOUS!!! "I'm not gon bother you!" This is the first barber channel I subscribed to when I was considering the Suprent clipper to recommend to a beginner who asked me about a good cheap cordless clipper he could buy two of and not spend a day's pay. I got a pair myself and all three are still going strong.

    Jrl is working on docks for their new Clipper and trimmers the reason they didn't add a dock to it in the first place was to keep the cost down

    10000 spm will dry up blades more than others so oil on the regular is a must for those or they we I'll feel like they losing power. Great review👍🏼

    I have the 50cal and I know what you mean about it not totally zero gapping I had gotten the first generation one so I though it was because it was first gen but now that you mention it it could be cheap labor. But I did end up swapping the bracket which a whal senior one. But definitely try a staggered tooth ceramic just to try it’s works amazing with this clipper you won’t be sorry!

    Great review bro!
    I have one of these but I got mine when they first came out so it came with a different blade.
    A few things:
    1.These came out almost 2 years before the ergos
    2.I also feel like the power slows down but that has to do with the linear magnetic motor (they'll all will do that to a certain extent) surprised you feel more power in the ergos 🤔
    3.Mine zero gapped easily but I still swapped the blades to a wahl still blade and ceramic cutter and love that setup (feels like a fast feed)
    4.you got yourself a new subscriber!

      Thank you for the subscribe. I did find out that these came out before the Ergos, I had a few on my head after that last video, lol. And I may try that swap with the Wahl blade. 👍🏾

    hello man, i just got my caliber 50 cal mag and man they feels as powerful as my V900 corded wahl clipper, very powerful clipper i was scared because of this video about the power but i try them anyways and @DorianBarber was right, this is a great clipper better them wahl cordless Senior,i don't really understand if you just got a faulty pair or something but my pair are all i was spectic for, thanks for the great videos man.
    UPDATE:
    -The 50 cal mag are amazing bro, who ever is reading this message go ahead and get this, it's basically an ergo but at 135$US it has a nice black blade true 440c japanese steel , very sharp, again i don't know why reggie feel like they have problems with bolk, for me they cut any type of texture hair, i see a lot of youtuber talking about the ERGO having problems with bulk, but give it a try, they are very very good clippers, thanks.

  • @TikkacanKut2
    @TikkacanKut2 Před 3 lety +1

    Buy a philty blendz modified bracket and the andis master screws. Use the stock cutter blade and put the andis master fade blade or the andis master hybrid blade. If you do that they zero gap real close to the edge. That’s what I did trust me you gone love them frfr then

  • @Longenecker1776
    @Longenecker1776 Před 2 lety +1

    💈💈Great clipper, I just wish it came with a taper blade or fusion, only because fade blades tend to pull certain clients hair (In my opinion). Maybe it’s my issue. Also, the screws in the back are too tight and one of them can’t be unscrewed 😬…I’ll have to figure that out. 💈💈

  • @YAH_ONLY

    The closeness for it being 0-gapped, would you say it’s comparable to 0000 or 000?

    I have the 2nd Gen 50 Cal and love em and use em for every cut. I'm assuming they don't allow a fully zero gapped 3rd Gen is cuz on the 2nd Gen you can truly zero gap and actually overlap the cutting blade (which is super thin and could most likely cut skin). The blade is sharp enough line-up the hair and leave an ash line, not that anyone would want to do that. And also you probably can't zero gap fully so it doesn't eat up your guards.

    • @amoyzegh
      @amoyzegh Před 3 lety +1

      Wait you cannot even zero gap them (3rd gen)

    • @dezwalker254
      @dezwalker254 Před 2 lety

      @@amoyzegh I’m not positive cuz I don’t own the 3rd Gen, but I heard that they adjusted it to where you can’t zero to avoid cutting someone. The cutting blade is razor thin and can do damage.

    I agree it doesn't cut bulk easy.. 2 or 3 passes to get a even cut.. which clipper do you recommend on cut bulk? Seniors or ergos ?
