      I put a spoon of raw honey in my mouth and then put the chopped garlic in my mouth after sitting 10 minutes.
      Or just swallow it with a gulp of water without honey. It's easy

    I love garlic' it's a miracle food from God! But I didn't know you had to leave it out for 10 minutes. I always cut mine up and put it in with my food and I feel fantastic from it afterwards and I love to eat quite a bit of it.       Hey mate! Try and start small, eat garlic daily for the blood pressure along with Vitamin D3 + Vitamin K2 togheter and some Vitamin-E (Easily found in sunflowerseeds).
      Start eating more of those foods and do any light exercise you can from the home, even if you can't take long walks anymore you can always build up to it!
      You can do it!
      There will always be troublesome children and disrespectful people, just focus on yourself and your journey and stay healthy!

    Thanks Doc, I blend it with honey and take a spoonful first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and have lost over 100Lbs, it boosted my metabolism so much that I must eat 5-7 meals a day to maintain a healthy weight of 130Lbs. From 300lbs to a lovely 130🤗

    Also doctor I would like to mention the importance of taking larger pieces of garlic for colon issues. It has gotten rid of multiple diverticulitis attacks from me without the use of antibiotics or having to go to the emergency room and receive CT radiation. Crush it and chop it for small intestine swallow larger pieces if you want the benefits to make it to your colon otherwise your stomach acid will get rid of all that goodness and your colon will be left with little benefit ❤

    Good to hear this. I've just started making a really simple soup. Fry onion, garlic, add water and diced potatoes,boil for 10 mins, then add chopped courgettes, boil for another 15 mins with some veg stock, salt and white pepper, with a handful of parsley, then at the end chuck in a bit more raw garlic and parsley, blitz and serve. (I fry in butter.)So nice. Goodness in the garlic and parsley. Low calorie too. 👍💕😋
    Edit: yeah I know, courgettes are super bland... No real nutritional value, but they're a filler. I reckon this soup would work well with broccoli?

    Same goes for onions, where oxygenation is key! You must slice/chop then "air them out" for 5 minutes before cooking, in order to get the most benefit from their nutrients!

      Yes, onion works too. Garlic may create too much heat in body that make the heart beat fast, make us angry. Onions are milder. I slice and eat it raw. At night, when I sleep, I feel good. I feel my nerves in my head relax, my mind clear. I think onion is cleaning my arteries when I sleep.
      Food is the best medicine.

      Furthermore, different varieties offer different assorted nutrients; yellow onions having the most sulfur content; white onions having more manganese; red onions having more antioxidants like quercetin, anthocyan, etc.

    When I was in the boys scouts we were out in Cuyamaca mountains the troop leader just before dinner he told us to eat a piece of garlic before dinner because early dusk. The skeeters will come out and bite you and suck on your blood so some of us ate that garlic no problem the ones that did not eat the garlic they were slap in their arms and face and neck because the skeeters were after them.

      Another great thing to take when you feel a tickle in your throat is a good quality manuka honey! Just a spoonful can often be all you need. Just never mix raw honey in hot water as it will kill off everything that’s good.

      Yes, avoid directly putting honey in hot water. Mix with normal water first to activate then top up with hot water.
      Although Menuka honey is supposedly the best honey from the comb I get from villages are just as pure and good.

    I make sure I don’t put it in the fridge anymore. I make sure I slice and chop it. Make sure you make Garlic tea, to help with runny nose, cough, sinus headaches. I didn’t have a cold all winter. Here is the recipe. In a two quart saucepan chop up one medium onion, two to three cloves of garlic chopped, 5 to six slices of lemons. Combine all ingredients in pot covered with water. Just cover ingredients with enough water. Bring it to a rolling boil, then turn down and simmer for 30 minutes. Make sure the water doesn’t evaporate. Remove the lemon slices, then put garlic, onions and water in soup bowl. Eat and drink all the ingredients. In at least an hour you will feel your nose dried up, and breathing will be better.

    Thanks for this Dr Mandel! I've been making Yogi Detox tea every morning for the last year. I combine their roasted dandelion detox tea bag with their cleanse detox tea bag with distilled water, 1-2 large fresh lemons to get at least 3.5 - 4 oz juice, 2 TBL of Bragg ACV with mother, 1 teaspoon of real EVOO and 1 large finely diced clove of garlic. After dicing the garlic I let it marinate in the ACV / lemon juice mixture for about 30 minutes before I add the cooled down tea and EVOO. I find that doing this step takes a bit of the bite out of the garlic. But now I'll begin by letting the diced garlic sit in the air for 10 minutes before doing so. Appreciate all you do to inform and teach healthy lifestyle choices.

    I tried the thin slice of garlic under my tongue to quickly lower my blood pressure. You warned that if your pressure is high, it will burn. Well, it really does, but like eating a hot radish. It absolutely worked though. I am very thankful for this holistic remedy, because I prefer not to go on medication. (I've also started walking and eating more healthy) My body responded to the garlic slice within 15 minutes. This is very valuable info because you can't always get to a doctor immediately.

      Sorry about that.....now on an empty stomach take 2 of the cloves and chew them into a mash and let it sit in your mouth,I literally hate this part ,until it burns like he'll now swallow and chase it with a big glass of water and repeat. Yesterday's blood pressure was 110/71 pulse average is 57.I am 64.I swear by this..
      I haven't gotten covid...yet.

      Since March 8th 2020 I figure I must have eaten 35-40 pounds and have never felt better! Also part of that daily routine includes 3 pieces of
      American ginseng, vitamin d3,zinc,, a multi vitamin and 2000iu of C after eating.

      @@TravelbyNick. Absolutely. Hangovers are caused by the liver converting alcohol into aceteheldyhde, which is extremely toxic, and that's what causes the hangover. Garlic contains L-cysteine, which neutralizes aceteheldyhde.

    Heat changes garlic so for maximum benefit eat it raw by crushing it to a paste in your pestle and mortar and mixing the paste with olive oil and vinegar to make a salad dressing.

    Personally I am a garlic lover there is a Greek sauce which I prepare often mix chopped garlic chopped cucumber which must be strained at the beginning mix with yogurt add olive oil and some lemon juice it keeps in the refrigerator for about three days ❤️

      I cut off the top of a whole head of garlic, coat it in evoo, wrap it in damp paper then foil and roast it at 350 about 25 minutes. Squish all that wonderfully soft garlic out and use it instead of butter on bread. Super yummy.
