- Exploring Around our New Off-Grid Cabin - Bass Fishing, Canoeing & Heavy Rains
Join us as we head out on some adventures around the cabin. First we paddle into a beautiful lake where we have lunch and catch a few fish. The following day we portage into a different lake and have a bit more luck with the fishing. Later on Hudson reels in a couple good sized bass!
Our last day at the cabin was a rainy one and we stayed in and played some games and worked on a puzzle.

Kiddos grow up so quickly, and while I’m not able to hike and explore like hubby and I did back a couple decades, our children are 22,19, and 16. Enjoy it while it lasts.❤

i noticed Wesley is much stronger and sitting up more unassisted - i think he and Hudson both thrive on these outings. you have said your family videos dont do as well as some of your others but i love seeing them.

Each time I see Wesley and Huddie’s growth I am almost teary eyed thinking of how many other children would benefit from such adventures and loving parents.
Wesley’s cognitive developments are amazing. It’s amazing what sunlight and fresh air can do for human development. I can’t say enough about Huddie. He can carry his own little load now.He portage ahead of Mom and darn near keep up with Dad. What a little champion ‼️

I grew up going to a cottage in Algonquin which had no electricity, plumbing, etc. We pumped our drinking water from a sandpoint well. We did have a propane fridge and would bring all of our food in and cross the lake to get to the cottage. My mom cooked on a wood stove or Coleman camp stove. Now we have a propane stove. My Dad put a plastic tank on a metal stand so we have gravity fed water for hand washing. Sadly the hand pump is not working now so we need to bring in drinking water. All this to say that bombing around in our little outboard motor boat and swimming on the beach made for the best childhood vacations that my kids have now too!!! Love your family and channel!!!❤🎉

"Ontario Yours to Discover", my first experience in Ontario was in 1962. My father took our family on a fishing trip to the Chapleau area. It was quite an adventure. Went back many times. Awesome memories. Great video guys.

Every video I'm just amazed at how the two of you work together to make these family adventures at your new cabin so much fun. Tori carrying her son on the back pack with gear in her hands while Jim carries the canoe. Jim praising Tori when she catches Another big fish and I love Hudson always repeating things you say Jim, he really looks up to you.
