    Awesome video Lance sorry mate I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet finally tonight I got there. Very nice bike not many people worry about weight on E bikes . It is what it is. That Eastern spice looks one mean track. Always looking forward to seeing you on your next video

      Yes, I see you hadn't watched it and was starting to get distressed so am happy to have you back. Only joking. I have to be careful with that one as I have had lots of people reply. "You can see if I have watched your video?"😂

    Hey mate loving your channel, it's really great, I am moving back to NZ and want to get into Ebikes, I am early 50's and used to mountain bike before suspension was a thing! I still have my Giant Attraction MB. My question is have you tried anything better than this for the money since this review? There are a few of these around at good prices. Thanks mate, Nick

      Glad you are enjoying the channel. I think this was my last review video but I could be wrong. It is a great bike and bike shops are keen to do deals in this current market. I love my new KTM but at a higher price point. Whyte make good bikes at a good price if you don't mind alloy. The most popular bike by far is the Trek Rail and is hard to beat on price also. I personally like having something a bit different to anyone else. E bikes often have issues so having good backup support and warranty is worth a lot in my opinion.

      @@bestdayevermtb2 thanks mate, yea I have seen a lot of Trek, I'm with you something different is nice, Cannondale is a good brand, and I have seen them on special.

    Hello, thanks for all the videos.
    I'm currently torn between deciding on the Cannondale Moterra Neo LT 2 2023, available for €4,999 at a physical shop, and the Santa Cruz Heckler S 29' 2023, priced at €4,899 online. I would greatly appreciate any advice. My primary riding location is in Sintra, Portugal.

      @bestdayevermtb2  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Must admit I have been to Portugal when younger but never ridden there. Both bikes are great choices. A few things to consider. Buying from a physical shop is a big bonus in my opinion. The likelihood of having a problem with any e bike is high so having someone to fix it quick is great. Secondly look closely at the spec. I assume the Cannondale will have better components for the same money, but I could be wrong. If I had to choose on motor, I would go Bosch over Shimano. I would also want the biggest battery but that is just me. The Santa Cruz will probably be easier to sell second hand as some people just love the brand. If you love the Santa Cruz brand then get the Heckler, if you don't care about the brand get the bike with the best toys for the money as both are premium brands. Let me know what you get.

      The frame layout at the bottom is similar. Keeps the weight as low as possible.

    Size for 180 cms , in sizing ( spec) I am a S4 ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    • @bestdayevermtb2
      @bestdayevermtb2  Před 6 měsíci

      According to Cannondale's own sizing chart you would be a large (172 to 185cm tall) I think that would seem right to me. The XL recommends 182cm to 195 so I am sure you could ride it ok if you really liked the feeling of a bigger bike.

    The dork disk prevents oil from your chain contaminating the brake disk. It's basically a barrier between the brakes and drive train.

      It's meant to stop the chain going into the spokes if it comes off.

      NewmarketMTB is correct. They are required to be put on bikes to prevent the chain dropping between the spokes and cassette. It is also a requirement that reflectors are put on the spokes. (I took these off before I started)
      Modern derailleurs have pretty much made them obsolete.
      If they were designed to keep the brakes clean from drive train contamination, then that would suggest to me that they were important. If that was the case, then surely on high end expensive bikes they would be made of aluminum and be held in place by the cassette not made of cheap throw away plastic with pathetic clips to the spokes.
      I have reviewed many new bikes and like this one the disk has broken off the spokes within 15 min of downhill riding.
