This is without a doubt the manliest movie ever made. Arnold Schwarzenegger also released The Running Man that year. This franchise consists of movies, comics, graphic novels and videogames, some of which crossover with the Alien franchise. The actor playing Dillon was Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise. The titular creature is part of an advanced race of interstellar warriors and trophy hunters with a strict code of honor. Dutch's story is continued in Predator Hunting Grounds and its prequel novel Predator Stalking Shadows
I love the passion that she showed while going off on the guy for looking at the laser . I definitely remember feeling that same type of anger the first time I watched the movie 🤣.
In the mid 80’s, lasers were pretty rare, especially laser aiming points. You wouldn’t know what the hell was going on

36:00 - Ironically, the original Predator monster design was hilariously bad. Jean Claude Van Damme was originally cast when it was a lobster-looking foam outfit and he eventually left the project. Stan Winston got some unexpected help from James Cameron who gave him invaluable feedback which is why this villain is one of the most iconic in cinematic history.
We all dodged a bullet with that with Van Dam and the original concept..who was fired for complaining so much on set for a newbie
They did eventually reuse that design for Predators as an easter egg.
Another "fun fact"; Shane Black, who played Hawkins, is better known as the writer of Lethal Weapon.

"Carl Weaters" Dillon is Apollo Creed from the movie "Rocky" also starring Sylvester Stallone. Boxing movie 1977. He was also in Happy Gilmore. The Predator laughing when he detonated the bomb 💣 that's Billy laughing, he recorded him laughing at the joke he was told.

Mrs. Grave Cinema in Predator 2 1990 The Concrete Jungle/City Predator has way more weaponry at it's disposal & way more vision mode options 2 choose from than The Rural/Wilderness Predator in this film (Predator 1987)!

Jean-Claude van Damme was supposed to play the predator, but he gave up after realizing that he would not be able to show karate tricks! Can you believe it !!?As for Mack's death, laser sights were new at the time, and no wonder he didn't understand what was happening.And then his time was up.
Fun watch! I think Predator can be considered a slasher for the most part. It's horror-adjacent for sure. Great reaction video, you guys!

First watch this long time ago I thought Predator look completely badass without that mask on.
Most people dont know that even arnold was dead in that movie. He told to the superiors about the predator and was taken to a mental asylum aftermath. And due to the radiation he got from the last explosion he passes shortly

There are multiple sequels to this movie 🎬. Predator 4 is coming soon . No the actor Carl Weather.
Since the Predator can see in infrared, when Mac and Dillan were positioning around him, the Predator was setting them up. He knew what they were doing.
The first time I saw predator in the movies I noticed this little detail. -
I noticed that in the reaction videos, that *NOBODY* noticed that when the predator Killed MAC, It was "Literally" standing right there , just watching him. After It killed him It walked over him as if it were straddling him. 20:59

A lot of people say that blast from the Predators weapon would've demolished Macs head. But don't you think that with a race that advanced they'd think of a way to adjust the power of that weapon?
And what are you talking about? That was easy to see. It was just as easy to find the Predator when Mac showed Dillan where I was earlier in the same scene.
Trust me kid, you can't find anything in this movie that everybody else hasn't found.

Just that it was standing over him after the head shot(not the scene where Mac told Dillon "I see you". If I did , It was an oversight XD

You need to have her watch the second one. Some of the mythos is that they use one of the most epic badass species to train their young I wont give away the species name.

Have you guys watched a great scifi horror movie that came out in the 90's by the name of Event Horizon. It's one of my favorites, but my wife can't because of the strobing it sends her into seizures really badly.

I always wondered how would they ever explain Predator technology as their eyesight is so bad that making their high technology stuff would in my mind be very difficult. In this sense if our woke hollywood would actually finally make good Predator movie, they could still explain Predator gained that technology from another alien species, which would let movie maker invent totally new race.
More likely our sun just messes with their eyes.
They’re eyesight isn’t bad I think. They just see in infrared and their helmets act as a filter of sorts so that they can differentiate environmental and atmospheric heat from the body heat of their prey
