I have been trying to figure out why people still swarm to John Mayer's concerts. Not that it is not worth it, not that it is not on the level of the guitar greats, or that he is still attractive, and has an alluring voice, but something else is there. I have come to the conclusion that no matter how many times he performs, records, or writes, it is always from his heart, always with great passion, and about subjects that has or will touch everyone. At this time when honesty, truth, and loyalty is something that we all are still searching for, John brings it every time. He truly is masterful at his art and not unlike those who have risen to greatness, he will always have a following; me included.

His talent is obviously great, his voice is sweet and pleasant, but he has tripped over his mouth a bit too much. His ability to teach and share his gift would leave a legacy. I wish he would set up learning centers for youth.

I was at this show. Hearing this live was rly magical. Also, I vividly remember he said he forgot how to play the Wherever I Go part but he tried it and it went perfectly. It's my favorite song and I couldn't have asked for anything more.
You don’t always see him this invested in his songs when performing, like with some of the simpler songs. He seems to be enjoying himself a lot on this one though

In a previous interview John stated that he wil record this fantastic song for a future album. I hope he will live up to this promise. On the "Where the light is" album, this version has an extra verse. Does anyone know if this a (part of a) seperate song that he adds to "In your atmosphere"?
It's the same song, he just doesn't really sing it in his live shows cause it's very hard to sing and prob strains his vocal chords which he had to get surgery on years ago
