I have 2 more " dream birds" that i want to add to my flock. An Amazon and a Galah cockatoo. Your bird is just beautiful ❤️😀. I think i hear a conure in the background. I have a 5 yr old Sun and an 18 mo old sun. I have 7 different species that le me share the perch (aka nest, aka house) with them. Lol
They die from cages with that kind of coating. Gets in their system. Horrible death...he really needs some Amazon perches. Wood...rope.....grooming perc h...etc..his size. He cant even grip those little slick sticks in his cage. Please vet him a safe coated cage for his size and safe toys for large birds...love him too !
Did you know that your bird is actually a Mexican Double Yellow Head Amazon parrot? I used to have one and they are excellent talkers and they love to sing.

He/she has a lot to talk about. Too bad we need an interpreter! So sweet! I want another one so bad! I had one a long time ago & he flew the coop as I didn't clip his wings when I should have. 😔
Poor bird, rusty old cage and perches that even a budgie will get sore feet on. Hope it found a god home

Beautiful birdie... the skinny...slick ...wooden sticks are not good for birds. They need purchas they can grip to

*I noticed the same exact thing.. the left nostril looks to be extremely impacted which affects its breathing... smfh.... sad*
