Here is another shop tour showing what we have been up to over the winter. The boats we have had in the shop over the winter are coming along and we are in the final stages of restoration on a couple of boats in the shop.

I know from experience that getting started and working through a restoration of an antique or classics runabout can be a daunting task and sometimes you do not know where to start. Mike, What size and length of copper do you need? My father was a plumber all his life and I know he had some copper lengths that are about 3” in diameter, but I would have to check them for sure. I do not know how long they are. They may be used, I just do not know. I live in Rockford, MI. If you let me know exactly what you need I will check it out and get back to you. Dan
Dan, thank you so much. I need 2 pieces at 5 to 6 feet long, and the diameter needs to be 2 3/4 with the wall thickness of .0625. I wish it could be thicker, but it needs to bend, and any thicker, they can not bend it properly. Thanks again for checking.

I checked on the copper pipe my dad had and it is 3”” diameter. Sorry! It was a thought! Is 3” copper used on any boats? If not I think I will bring the two lengths to recycle.

@@danieloverbeek2623 Thank you for checking. Yes there are some boats that need 3'' copper pipe so those are worth about $300 to $500 a piece.
