Artistry! I'm so impressed by the quality of work you and your team are doing. Thanks for sharing the many tips and tricks with us.
Thanks so much!
Love the channel, I reckon there's around 700 screws in the bottom of that 17ft boat
Love your channel. My 1963 Century Resorter allegedly had 3,000 screws in it total. I am the current owner after my Dad passed. I distinctly remember my father telling me and my seven brothers and sisters that number. We all learned to water ski behind that boat. Kind Regards. Craig
Thanks again for sharing. During my restoration of a 1961 Chris Craft 17-ft ski boat I replaced all the silicon bronze wood screws and carriage bolts. Total weight of the old hardware was about 45 lbs. : )
Will you PLEASE, write a book about staining, sealing, finishing.
Great video tips at the beginning.
Mike, once again you are mentioned in the Century Boat Club Thoroughbred News Letter by Thomas Holmes in his letter from the President. Unfortunately I was not able to attach a picture of the page.
You are receiving High Praise from the Century Master.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video and the update on the wooden boats resortation I have an original ditchburn and a 1939 Johnson outboard 10hp very rare and very original condition

I counted the screws on my 17 ft sportsman so i could determine what to order and it was 1368 screws (not counting the pan heads from the interior)
Very close! there was 1396 screws used in the bottom of the boat. Thanks for watching!
@@MikeGreenStudioWorks Where do you typically purchase fasteners from? I bought my last batch of carriage bolts from bolt depot and the screws I can't remember (all silicon-bronze of course)...
@@JonnieBGuud We get most of them from Top Notch Fasteners tnfasteners.com/

So the offical count is in! The winner is billamb2512 won with a guess of 1400 fasteners, unfortunately Bill won nothing other than bragging rights. Way to go Bill!
