It happens all the time and how professionals handle it shows their true professionalism and how much of a legend they will be remembered by, and Lewis Hamilton Aced that one like a Legend. Though him now deciding to possibly retire this off-season because of this will cost him to lose a lot of the respect he gained from everyone from this last championship. I have seen many races and championships where he got the favored calls and he even was backing up Rosberg in 2016 trying to get him reeled in by another racer that would have been able to give him the gap he needed to take the Championship but it didn't work, but same tatic as Checo used on him in Dubai. People are always ok with it until it costs them a win or a championship. It's funny how that works, doesn't it?

We all know Lewis is a sensitive guy with a deep heart. Whilst his sporting achievements bring him great joy when I see videos like this you can't help but think once he hangs up the suit he will turn back towards those memories with Nicole that clearly meant so much to him. Hamilton handled his loss in Dubai to Max like a true champion, he handled it like a Legend. It is times like those that define a true Hero and Champion. This championship really gave me so much respect for Lewis as a professional racing driver but mostly it gave me so much respect for him as a human being and a person. So humble and modest. He bite his tongue and went on that podium happy for Max and asked Mercedes to withdrawal their protest to the FIA race calls at the end. They did what was best for F1 and everyone ending the race racing not on a safety car. Good call, and Lewis is a true champion for handling that call so well as many calls similar have gone his way too, it's racing just as Massa said to Toto. I think Max deserved this Championship as did Lewis. Gives the next one, the record breaker, more memorable and worth it. Much like in NFL football, a team can have the lead For 3 1/2 plus quarters and lose it in the final minute and a half. All because of a bad call. Yet can that team say the title was ripped away from them, they can but it doesn’t matter because they lost. The team doesn’t keep carrying around like disease into the next season & beyond. Yet that doesn’t stop Lewis from continuing his whining and complaining. Finally, it should’ve never even come down to that because Max passed Lewis on lap one. Lewis drove on the runoff, Lewis drove & cut the corner and cut in front of Max. Lewis should’ve given that back, but he didn’t because the golden boy gets his way. Now let’s fast forward to a year later. Carlos Sainz passes Lewis in the exact same spot, and the exact same way. Lewis does the exact same thing, what did FIA do, they made Lewis give the spot back. Max was right. Finally, double finally if it wasn’t for Lewis and Max, taking each other out in Italy, Lewis taking out Max at Silverstone and bottas taking max out, there wouldn’t even been an Abu Dhabi for Lewis to keep crying about. The guy nose dives into Lewis willing to crash when hes not entitled to space. He should've been penalized from the start and maybe he'd correct his dirty driving but fia let it go too long and now we're here where max feels wronged for finally getting penalties. His mindset is that hes been driving that way(dirty) from the start and new he gets a penalty.
