  • Join us on a walking tour of La Orotava Tenerife, a beautifully preserved colonial town in the north of the island, just inland from Puerto de La Cruz.
    This town has a spectacular mountainside location with views over the Atlantic Ocean. However, the main attractions for us were the incredibly well-preserved historic buildings and the stunning gardens.

    LA OROTAVA
    La Orotava is situated in a fertile valley on Tenerife's northern coast, approximately an hour's drive from Tenerife North Airport.
    This geographical setting provides the town with spectacular scenery and a favourable climate that supports a wide variety of vegetation. The town's elevation ranges offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the volcanic landscapes that characterize the island.
    One of the standout features of La Orotava is its well-preserved historical center, which is a point of pride for locals and a focal point for visitors. The town's architecture showcases Canarian style, with beautifully adorned balconies, intricate wooden carvings, and traditional stonework.
