I swear, you gotta make sure you’ve got all your errands, chores and bathroom trips done before going into any cave- but more so this cave. Because saving and coming back to it will put you back in the entrance of the cave.
The last 2 caves are confusing as heck without a guide. Thanks for this!

I know its always fun to find the answers to the dungeons on your own but I've at this dungeon for 3 hours and I'm tired of it
Was a good challenge. Classic Zelda problem finding the secret room to solve the dungeon!
In the original instead of “Burn it all down!” it said “Burn, baby, burn!”

Pro tip for this dungeon: use your boomerang to fight the flying demon's. Stuns them and does damage.

@@leonalee5821 "if you time it exactly" is what makes it hard. You can just stun them and throw the boomerang at them a couple times instead. Much easier to hit with.
Yeah you CAN use the magic powder. I just find it significantly easier with the boomerang.

Unlike in the original game, defeated minibosses don't ever respawn.
Many of the rooms in this dungeon are modified for the Chamber Dungeons.

I softlocked myself and used the key for the stair area on the cream chest. Damnit this is why I hate the special cream it’s useful but it always screws me over

There is only 2 sword in the game. The Fighters Sword and the Seashell Sword (Koholint Sword)
When your hearts are full the second sword shoots those beams

It is required. Simply talk to Marin in Mabe/Animal Village and she should teach it to you.

That boss battle makes no sense. He’s literally in lava and you hit him with a fire rod.
BÆN Its not a fire rod. It’s a magic rod, even though the sole effect programmed in is to burn things.

i got softlocked by using the key that your supposed to use for the door in the room under the one that you get the special cream, oops
They fixed this issue in the remake. There is a bomb-able wall in the route where you used the key. The bomb-able wall will take you to the upper route; from the left route to the upper route.

You just need to find another key. Remember what the owl statute tells you about filling in the blanks. .
What do I do now? Instead of using key on door at 9:42 I used it on the key block at 14:54 and now I'm stuck.

You just need to find another set of enemies to kill.
The door is before the block...
Or "Blocking" the block.
@@indisputable3 there are other areas of the dungeon that are still open. That's where you need to try to find another key.

How in the everloving hell did you manage to burn that ice block in such a way.. I've been stuck in this little cave for 10 minutes now because I can't get the right block to work.

there’s a Koholint sword, and it’s the most powerful sword in the game. i think you can get it when you return 30 or 40 secret seashells

Links awakening for me is a 6.5 out of 10 one of the worst Zelda games. Poor jumping and controls, putting things in the game you’d have no idea (bomb arrow) exist without looking it up. Dungeons are all irritating and infuriating. The only thing I really love is the graphics. A Link between worlds is a masterpiece compared to this mess.

If you don't have the level two sword (which I think is at the seashell mansion), doing the spin attack kills them.
Ah thank god, otherwise I’d have to collect so many shells
