Miep Gies, you are loved! I'm so happy that they renamed a park in Amsterdam after you this year. You truly deserve it!

Can you imagine what excitement there would be if Margot's diary turned up?

I was just thinking that. Wonder if she took it with her? I’m sure they searched everything in the house.

Her diary probably provides a clue on who betrayed them.

A woman who risked her life to try to save others. Moreover, it is modest. She would be processed into heroin: "We were not the only ones to do the same thing" she pronounced! This is a very simple woman, honest, sincere, loyal, brave ... Not neglect the other collaborators: M. Kugler, Kleiman and Bep Jan Gies.

It is part of the righteous who tried to save lives. We will never forget. Moreover, we will never know who was the real informer. A holy woman. Tribute to Miep.

Yeah, it was also used to make people think they were in switzerland and to lower suspicion. I've seen the original rent pay papers in the museum with otto's signature, also I saw their apartment last month when I went to Amsterdam, check out my Merwedeplein video, thats where it is :)

Its sooooo weird hearing this woman talk about people I've read about (some 20+ years ago when I first read Anne Frank's Diary) as though they were still alive....and to her they WERE alive. THIS is what is soooo weird!
It's kind of like a living ghost were conducting the interview / documentary. Soooo weird!!!!

Ann was always getting in trouble for not acting appropriately - She said exactly whatever came into her mind or said what she thought - Apparently, only to Ann did Miep Gies tell what was actually happening in the outside world, for Ann was the only one strong enough to hear - Ann was completely committed/obsessed with writing - Ann questioned, while everyone else accepted - and other things - I don't know, just an observation - Asperger's isn't always a bad thing.

U know us kids- better yet, human beings think that ppl loke hitler is just a one time thing," so what that was in 19- whatever, who cares.", guess again! The are 7. Something billion ppl in this world, i think, but he point is with tht many ppl there will always be someone like him, we may be an "advanced generation", wich I agree with, but tht only makes it tht much worse. I am a kid, so maybe im a little off, but this seems like the truth to me.
