@@Ae0liann Same, but then with Rammstein lol
I'm pretty sure he plays in the band

That’s Zesty. He’s been in a few of the brotherhood videos. He’s now playing with dragged under. Super nice dude
I know a girl who though nirvana was a clothing brand
Very disappointing
That physically hurts
My sister asked me if nirvana was a brand when I wore one of my nirvana shirts,,,
I know people who thought that Joy Division was a clothing brand when I commented on their Unknown Pleasures shirt lol. In all fairness it's a rad shirt design even if you don't know the band
"A girl" is everyone in the school I used to attend lol
There are five kinds of people:
1. Don’t know the band, “the shirt is cool”
2. Knows a bit about the band
3. Knows the band but blanks because put on the spot
4. Too wasted to know what’s going on
5. Knows too much about the band. Obsessed
Protest The Hero guy is definitely Number 5.
Me with my chemical romance
Shorter name for #1 "the poser"

Im ABSOLUTELY number 5 with KISS
Jared: "Can you name three-"
Guy: "Sure, I can list the full discography for Protest the Hero. Okay so track one"
... and since I'm now done with all the Protest the Hero songs I'm gonna name every demo of the singers highschool band that never released their songs at all.
That guy was outstanding. If you're a hardcore fan what do you do...
The dude gave like a whole history lesson on the band! 🤣
My boy has the discogs database built into his brain.
dude protest the hero fuckin rules
I'll give the guy at 2:00 credit... hearing a band at a show, thinking they rocked, and buying their merch is nothing to poke fun at. That's what EVERYONE should be doing.
i do that way too many times, i end up checking their songs after but i love buying shirts from bands as a way to support them.
makes me remember something i think linus said, “you buying one youtuber’s merch is helping more than watching their ads for a year”
or somethinf
LOL That is what guys in crappy bands say
Dude is a walking "Protest the Hero" wiki page
Wouldn't be surprised if he's contributed to it before
Chris Adler didn't do drums on Scurrilous tho that was on Volition hmmMMM

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA KILLED OMG
I swear, If I'd wear shirt of a band I listen to 24/7 and literally know all their songs by heart and some person came to me to ask for 3 songs, I'd completely blank out lmao
for real though! i got to so many shows it's not even funny. and like, every once in a while they'll be smaller shows where i'll get to meet the band. had a dude ask me what my favorite song was one time and i couldn't answer. like wtf, you JUST played that in your set like 15 minutes ago. why can't i think of a single song? wtf brain. something about being on the spot just makes my brain empty out.
happened to me with a nirvana shirt once
Yup, I would have trouble even coming up with one song title.
Istg I always prepare myself for those questions bc I get nervous af when ppl ask even when I’m a huge fan who knows all the songs 😭
Yep, i am pretty sure most of those people actually know the name of a lot of songs, they just blank out on the spot
The number of “I’m drunk and just had a blow to the head, wtf is even my name” people made me chuckle.

Devin Anderson Happened to me. I loved the concert, I love the Tshirt, but actually forgot their name and havent heard them since ...
Came here to say the same thing. Glad someone beat me to it.
Agreed, can't really fault that kind of mentality. At least he enjoyed their stuff and supported them a bit.
Yup! I've been to a lot of shows where I saw the opener(Who I had never heard of) play their hearts out and give me an awesome show. You know they're dedicating everything they have to sound and play amazingly because as the openers they know people like me might not know them yet. It's a great way to show a first impression, and because of that, I'll buy their merch. I have a couple shirts from bands like that who I barely knew that blew my mind and I couldn't name a single song by them, just that they kicked ass and blew my mind. Another example is I'll buy and wear the band tees to my friends bands. I might not be able to name a song by them but I know I support the hell out of 'em.
Tibor Malinsky but how can you forget the band name if it’s on the shirt?
There's always that guy who know every little thing.
Agreed. And there's another guy who KNOWS every little thing.

Same here
Kello [] Who cares? Doesn’t matter as long as you’re upfront about it. Like that one dude, I’ve bought a shirt because I liked a live performance. It wasn’t a band anybody’s heard of, so nobody was gonna harass me about it anyway.
same
I know plenty of songs by all the bands shirts I wear but it's mostly "track #__" off the "#_" album. And I can quote it word for word.
Ahh yes because theres a 10/10 chance someone will go up to you and ask you to name 3 songs
A lot of bands seem to have made a song called, 'Oh Shit'.
That's the best one you're not a true fan until you know it
🤣😂🤣 so true, so true!
😂
When I make a band our songs are going to be "oh shit" "uh" and "shit"
'I'm Blanking' seems to be a popular one too
I don't think I've ever worn a band shirt for a band i didn't love
If I can't name 5, I'm not wearing it 😂
that's how you do it. I don't just look at what I know from the band, but also if I know enough from that album, before I decide to buy a shirt.
me too
somemight just want to wear it because of the good artworks tho
@@regor5150 I am not risking being called a "poser" online. I either know the whole discography and the name of the vocalist mother's pet when she was a kid, or I'm not wearing it lol

@@pixelplays964 I was thinking the exact same thing haha, BTBAM is the only band whose shirts I wear and I could name almost every track in their discography.
It’s perfectly normal to freeze up. I bet most of the songs came to them after the camera went off
I mean who could forget Sum 41's catalogue, after all? I'm joking. Freezing under pressure happens for sure, but I wouldn't go so far as to assume that *most* of each of those artist's songs came to all or even most of those people questioned in the video.
And it still haunts them to this day.
These are actually so stressful, someone asked me to name three Weezer songs and I said troublemaker, photograph and island in the sun and I've literally never listened to photograph

all the time... pirate the first cd i see on some warez site, follow them on FB, get tickets to a show - if they rock live, i buy a shirt and the remaining records on bandcamp.
I've done that. Bought a Throwdown album after I saw them because they kicked ass back in 2004.
As it happens, genuine fans are in essence the ones responsible for preaching the good word for their favorite bands.
Would have been as much fun to ask people what band was on their t-shirt.

Most of them aren't metalheads since they like those shitty metalcore bands.
D J I can name a majority of Iron Maiden songs, and I only have Maiden shirts. And a Dio shirt.
@@ZachlikesMetal Hey now. There are some decent metalcore bands out there, despite the garbage nuance. Darkest Hour slayed it in their days, for example.
It's not just white girls, people of any race do that. It's the popular thing to do now. To wear a band's shirt because it's trendy because some celebrity wore one.
Even if I'm not a fan of majority of the bands in this video. It still irks me that people wear a band's shirt and don't know not even one song. I would give a pass to someone who named two but because of the situation forgot the third.

yea man but really i would blank too if got asked to name 3 songs from the band on my shirt while high
It's more difficult than it seems when you're put on the spot, the brain goes blank.
this gem came across my feed and I'm dying. I can totally do this with Halestorm any time.
You know what, I'll give the guy at 2:00 some respect. He's was honest about not being able to name songs and that he bought it to support the band.
I have done that with bands. Festivals are great for this
I def have a few shirts for that same reason. The worst is when it’s a band that’s great live but somehow doesn’t sound good recorded.
@@jaredpreston3815 I bought a Psychotica cd when I saw them open for Tool. Good live band, but the recording on the album sucked. I've bought tons of cds of local band though that get regular spins.
I mean, why wouldn't you be honest, if you just bought the shirt, after hearing them live for the first time?
That was very nice of him
Protest the hero guy is still listing the band’s discography to this day.
Kremeľ Štrkovisko Bruh ya ruined it. 😭
when i walk around with my The Smiths shirts, i always hope someone puts me on the spot so i have a reason to talk about my favorite band
okay to be fair, most people really can't remember song names and you 100% blank out when you are put on the spot
I cant even imagine comfortably wearing a band tee of a band I dont know, id be so afraid of this exact situation
Good thing i know suicide silence
Just tell them you found it lying in the gutter
You know I liked the guy in the tank, he bought the shirt out of support, because he liked the gig. Doesn't mean he is an idiot. Don't be to catholic about a shirt
I once found a band shirt in a thrift store for 50 cents. The band was Gates of Ishtar. I didn't know the band, but it was clearly an early death metal-ish band so I bought the shirt. Then I went home and looked them up and they were badass. Early melo-death stuff and I instantly fell in love. That's the only time I've ever bought a band shirt of a band I didn't know. And I don't regret it.
Yeah, I wouldn't feel comfortable just thinking that it might be a band whose style I absolutely can't stand
Should’ve gone to a policeman and said to name 3 The Police songs
And he starts to recite Every breath you take and you wont be sure whether he is singing or he is gonna find about something illegal you did and put you in jail
Should've gone to a door and asked it to name 3 The Doors song
the next guy lol
"Roxanne", "Murder By Numbers", "Demolition Man"
Regatta de Blanc
