  • Cameron gets behind the wheel of the all-new 2021 Cayenne GTS Coupe. It's a big family car, but it's also the one of the best handling SUVs you can buy today. Find out more info on the price, exterior/interior highlights, boot-space and what the Cayenne GTS is like to drive.
    With a rear-wheel drive bias, thumping twin-turbo V8 and a thunderous exhaust note, it doesn't get much better than this.

    One thing that makes Porse extremely unique is that you can design a totally bespoke experience. From changing the color or material used on individual panels in the interior to changing things like the suspension and traction setups.

    Good Day, I received my GTS a couple of months ago. I purchased the lightweight sports package. I must say the sound of the twin central pipes is unbelievable. It sure has enough power to play with. Great review.

    Great review capturing the spirit of this car. My GTS coupe is currently at the local port and Im expecting delivery this week! Cant wait for my smiles and giggles as every reviewer seems to get driving. Would you consider adding a performance tune to the engine and gaining same HP as the turbo model?

    • @ProductReviewCars
      @ProductReviewCars  Před 2 lety

      Cheers!! Enjoy yours! It’s an incredible machine. You could look into getting a tune, however get a feel for the current power it has. It’s already got quite a punch from factory. But a tune would be pretty fun too.

      Hey mate congrats 🎉
      What did you spec for your interior finishes? Pure black leather interior or Two tones leather say black-red or GTS Alcantara package?
      I m very concerned about this interior coz it does wear after 3-5 years and kinda wondering which finish could be in better conditions after years normal driving.
      Thanks

    • @jasonpandolfo7946
      @jasonpandolfo7946 Před 2 lety +1

      @@BowenSyd I went with black leather and for me it's the look I like. I added carmine red tach and chrono clock with Bordeaux seat belts and I love the offsetting red since everything else is black. This also ties to the red break calipers on exterior. Looking back I might have enjoyed a little Alcantara such as the grab handles, arm rest and steering wheel against the leather seats. I worked with a 15K usd budget for options so had to make difficult decisions

    • @BowenSyd
      @BowenSyd Před 2 lety

      @@jasonpandolfo7946 Great choice Jason. I have a GTS 2016 macan for 5 years and I spec the interior with black and red two tones color looking great but I ve been paying too much cares and costs to maintain it since the red leather parts especially around edges here and there got stains over times. That’s why I asked. If I were ordering this new Cayenne GTS I would most likely do the same as your spec with some decorating red elements to light up interior. All black interior more durable in terms of stains resistance but looks a bit boring. With Chrono clock and seat belts in red will do the job for sure. I reckon the GTS package in red black with red stitching every where looks awesome but those parts in Alcantara only good in a couple of years then it may start looking shiny and worn. Hard decision!

  • @jo0o0oke3e3er
    @jo0o0oke3e3er Před rokem

    the turbo gt has the tiers body cladding in plastic by default (and you can't remove them) since it has preselected the lightweight sport package in black.
    In my opinion even on this cayenne gts it would look more aggressive with that package. quarzite grey with black make a very beautiful contrast, even more with privacy glass, doors wheels and spoiler in black.

  • @petermacgregor2004
    @petermacgregor2004 Před rokem

    I have ordered a black one of these with 4 wheel steer plus a few other extras.It's a whole year away. Looking forward to next August 2023. I made my buying decision after test driving an Audi Q8 and then a Cayenne Platinum 3L V6 Coupe. The difference was massive. The Porsche handing left the Audi for dead. Anyway, based on how good that was I skipped the S and plunged into the GTS. Good for towing my boat as well.

  • @BowenSyd
    @BowenSyd Před 2 lety +2

    Hi Cameron great reviews 👍
    By the way I m wondering what interior color would you pick standard black leather, red-black leather or Just this half breed Alcantara leather GTS package? Rule out the costs of these interior options I m kinda more concern about the long term durability issues. Alcantata looks great when new but just don’t know if I m keeping this car say up to 5+ years up to 10 years what would be better for wear and tear and also the resales values.
    I have a 5 years Macau Jet black GTS with red -black two tones leather interior and I maintain it still good condition but with too much cares on it a bit sick and tired.
    What would you pick for if u were buying one and spec your interior finish with this Quarts Grey metallic color?
    Cheers 🍻

    • @ProductReviewCars
      @ProductReviewCars  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks mate! I simply would steer clear of the Alcantara options where you can (they do wear poorly over several years of use). Probably, with Porsche, go simple. Black with the Grey will look super. I'm personally just not a fan of Porsche's other interior colours. Hope that helps!

    I'm about to reserve an allocation for a GTS Coupe and I cannot wait. I've been driving a 2002 Subaru WRX for about 16 years and it's time for a proper upgrade. (It's got ~180k miles and still purrs, I'm not trading it in for nothing)
    I was originally looking at an AMG, but I think I'm making the right choice with Porsche. Great review mate.

    Very tough decision between the X6M and this. Prefer the looks of the GTS but the X6 wins in performance. Not that it matters all that much for an SUV. I think I'd pick the GTS in the end. Great video !

    Some of those comments simply are not true. The RSQ8 can also put 85% of the power to the rear wheels. But the RSQ8 comes standard with the dynamic anti-roll stabilizing system, and 4-wheels steering. The RSQ8 simply handles better.
    There is a direct comparison here, where they take the RSQ8 and GTS through the same corner, at the same speed, and compare handling/body roll.

    • @ProductReviewCars

      You know what that means...time for an RSQ8 review to compare

    • @LifeOfToyz
      @LifeOfToyz Před 2 lety

      The Porsche offers both rear wheel steering and an active anti-roll system (PDCC) as options on the GTS coupe & suv. This seems an unfair comparison.
