Oh, I shared a detailed masterlist of all the tools I use along with my thoughts on them with my Earth patrons, so I probably won’t do a video on it soon, maybe in the future! I’m not sure what you mean by the liquid in my brush, but it might just be water to blend my water based markers! 😄♥️

When you said that you find boring to do figure drawing from a stock photo, that's exactly what happens to me! This is why I lose motivation to draw very quickly, I'm still trying to figure out a way that helps me learn while having fun and being happy with the result. (I'm very new to drawing btw) 🖌
Ah yes, the pain of practicing! 😩 what helps me with that is to make an original characters out of the stock photos, dress them up, show their personality, make them interact with someone else, make up a story behind the pose. That all makes it way more fun for me and therefore it’s easier to actually learn something! And even if the result isn’t great, I have fun during the process and that’s what matters! 😁

I'm so glad I've watched this! It's inspired me to sketch in my new (7th) sb! I was pretty burnt out, still am, but I may doodle and take a page from yours (the color spreads).

I love love love your sketch book!!!! And it has definitely inspired me to start one. I really like how you did all kinds of media in your sketch book (I heard you mention alcohol markers, watercolors, posca markers, pastels) and I would love to explore different media in mine too. Could you share which sketchbooks you used or which sketchbooks work well with all these media (I can see myself using watercolors, alcohol markers, color pencils and oil pastels mostly). You have definitely inspired me, thank you for that ♥️
Thank you, I’m glad this inspired you!! 🥰 the one in the video, the Royal Talens Art Creation, worked good with all the media, but the pages would warp a bit when using water based media. But it’s perfect for less serious sketching! The one I use now, the Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook, takes all the media I use really well, I love the paper so much!! But that one is a bit pricier. I hope it helps! ♥️

Wow you have inspired me so much! I struggle a lot with my sketchbooks because I use alcoholmarkers. What kind of sketchbook do you use? Because I don’t see any marker drawings bleeding through the next page! I would like to draw spreads like this without the bleedings…

Thank you! 🥰 I think the most important part is having fun while drawing them, and then experimenting with poses, ages, appearance…! Of course using lots and lots of references!
