Here we have a song about how much Oli loves his wife, and we're complaining that it's not depressing or angsty enough. It's a great song. You're not forced to stay, it's fine to like other things, but either listen to the older stuff or find something else. It's that simple.

It’s been a great pleasure to see Oli grow and heal over the years through the music. It’s been a beautiful brace thing of BMTH to say fuck the listeners and make music that they want to make. When I listen to this music and watch Oliver in interviews I see a big difference between this time and the years that came before when he struggled so much. Well done to him and the band.

I'm a long time fan. I like hearing bmth change it up a bit and try something different! I feel like they are growing and changing with me! I'll always love their old songs but I'm also loving this new stuff! I remember being so shocked when they released 'follow you' and was uncertain about the softer tone but we all change styles, especially over 10+ years. why should a band be any different?

I'm not protesting against the change itself I think its good in general, but I don't like the specific direction in which they are headed. I think that a lot of theire strength an a band came from their ability to say whatever it is that they were trying to say without hiding, and that's the opposite of what they did now. I literally had to hear it three times in order to understand the messege they tryed to convey, and the truth is that it's kind of disappointing.

The band is aware of what they sound like and they made a conscious decision to do this. You can't tell a band to sound a certain way, and tell them to not make the music they want to. I respect the band for doing what they want to and maybe this is opening new horizons (no pun intended) to their fanbase. Maybe some other people will use this as a gateway band and get into the pop then the rock leading into metalcore and deathcore. Who knows. Just let the band make the decision. They are the creators, they're in charge of their own music.
