I saw that Death Spiritual Healing tour as well. Pestilence and Carcass were on the leg of the tour I saw. I also saw that Arise tour. I was lucky enough to see Beneath the Remains tour as well. I was 12 for that tour. Cheers! \m/!!
I witnessed the true SEPULTURA lineup in the early days as well. Beneath The Remains, Arise and Chaos A.D. are great albums. When I saw them on their ‘Arise’ tour, they were so on point and tight : consummate pros. IMO, during the recording and subsequent touring of ‘Arise’, they were in their prime musically. I wouldn’t even pay attention to them nowadays if it wasn’t for Eloy Casagrande’s unquestionable drumming skills. Edit : Hail the DEATH albums Human, Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic. As a drummer, they’re still legendary and relevant by today’s standards. They were way ahead of the curve at the time. The 90’s produced some phenomenal music. R.I.P. Sean Reinert.

Escuto os irmãos Cavalera desde o início da década de 80 no Sepultura, vi dezenas de shows deles, e gosto da performance dos irmãos, tanto no Sepultura, quanto fora dele, e vendo eles tocarem nessa recente turnê, vejo que a alma verdadeira do Sepultura continua com os irmãos na sua forma de tocar, não estou querendo ser nostálgico, é outra época, e eles seguiram seus próprios caminhos...mas é Sepultura de verdade quando os irmãos estão tocando esses grandes clássicos, além da energia que é ótima.

Me too. This shit really blew me away. I saw the real Sepultura in the 90s, and I saw Soulfly and the new Sepultura several times in the 2000s, and I’ve seen them play the same songs… and nothing compares to Max & Igor together. This is how I remember Sepultura.🤘
Word. SEPULTURA died with their absence. I saw them on their first Australian tour at Festival Hall in Melbourne Australia. It was the tightest, heaviest and most powerful sounding they’ve ever been.
This stuff is here played the way it should be played. Singing is also more powerfull. Much better than what sometimes happened on stage in Europe before Covid. Keep rocking!!
That was awesome! They are doing the Roots tour in Brazil in August, can't wait! .....and I believe the next time they are back here it will be for this Arise/Beneath tour, that will be THE shit!
They were so good in ‘94! God tier band when they are all together. Separately Max & Iggor fare better than Paulo & Andreas. But I still follow them both.
Arise was the first Sepultura CD I purchased. I had no idea what they were about but something about that album art just called to me. The next weekend I was out buying every Sepultura CD I could find. I actually found Schizophrenia in a used cd store and found out from the store owner they were coming to town in a few months to tour for the Arise album. That was one hell of a first concert at the age of 15.

I was fortunate to see them on the original Arise tour. My very first death metal concert was Death - Spiritual Healing and every album after that!
