Ha! I got them in Germany- we had to go to a sporting goods store to get bags so that we could carry them on the plane home! The one closest to me is the Cologne Cathedral and the further one is the Aachen Rathaus- they were two buildings that I loved visiting when we were there (and only one tip of a spire broke on the flight home- easily fixed by my sweet husband!).
Hi Meredith! Well, box #1 was a total winner! Excellent brands and really nice pieces! Such a deal! Box #2 is much more what I expect from Fashom...nothing really great, some outdated styles/prints, but ok. Box #3 is straight to Goodwill...yuck. I have always questioned where Fashom gets their inventory...it has to be leftovers from somewhere and I've honestly never loved anything they've sent me. If you continue on to the $95 box, I'll be interested in seeing if things improve. But, hey, you got 5 really great pieces for $165!
Melissa- I think I’ll try the $95 box at least once, just to see the inventory. I have no clue where the stuff comes from, but I think it has to be leftover items from somewhere- purchased super inexpensively!
I know I’m late but I found an article that said “Fashom’s “mystery boxes” are helping retailers get rid of excess inventory without the clothing items ending up in landfills”
You did a really, great job here! 🎉 Think you need to reconsider a soft print camo like these were; it’s a great neutral. Getting those perfect, summer shorts was worth all three boxes! A cap sleeve or sleeveless white t-shirt under the jumpsuit would be cute. Suggestion: do some of the talking as voiceovers and just posing while wearing the clothes. Then you can compose / summarize what you want to say and it shortens the video. (Shorter videos are almost always better for most viewers.) Loved the natural light!! We don’t need to see your feet in most videos, just for floor-length dresses and pants. Even then, I’d intersperse with close-ups so we can see details on the garment. Some people want the camera far away because they don’t think they look good in close shots. That’s NOT TRUE for you! You look great in all your shots so don’t be afraid to do more close-ups. Would also love close-ups of some fabrics / parts to show details you like. Please feel free to ignore any of my ideas you want to! They are just suggestions with good intent, but you are plenty great without them.

First box, I like the shorts, blue shirt, orange square neck top, jumpsuit is ok, cheetahs top I like.
Second box, I do like the Leopard sweatshirt top, I like the cameo top, the black and cheetah top I love.
Box three, black floral top is very nice, the other tops are ok.
The no fleece sweatshirts seem to me like they’d be perfect for a chill Southern summer night.

I really liked everything in the first box. That one was a home run! Second box was still mostly okay. I know you didn’t like the feel of the black and white print, but it looked nice on you. The third box mostly looked like the clearance of clearance rack at Tj Maxx… 🤭

Interesting selection. I don’t think we get those type of boxes in the UK and, if we did, I’d definitely want some cotton in there.

Those boxes were not consistent, except in animal print! The first box, chef's kiss!
Animal print was the only constant- so true!! I wish they were all like that first one!

As always this was very interesting and things looked great on you. I can see that these boxes can open you up to things you wouldn’t pick if shopping at a store. Surprisingly, I really liked the camo and the animal prints. 😀

The 1st box was nice. I like girlie feminine clothes in pretty colors. I'm not a fan of black, camouflage or sweatshirts.

Hey Brenda! These boxes are so inconsistent that they are difficult to recommend! I will probably try one when they go up in price just to see if the quality and variety increase, as well! I really appreciate you- I can’t believe it has been a year!
I didn't care for the jumpsuit, but everything else in the first box was ok. The third box was a problem because of the fit issues..you should get some store credit for it. I think you look great in animal prints and camo.
I have written them about the sizing on the third box, I’ll update once I hear back! The boxes varied a lot for sure.

I’m happy that I was able to show all 3 together- I would honestly be disappointed if I saw box 1 and got box 3 (or a whole black box in your case!) I think there is something out there for everyone, this box is for sure for people who live for that mystery thrill!!

I liked the first box. I liked the "raglan" top in the second box. I liked the floral top in the third box. I think the shorts could have been a little bigger.They look tight. They look great at the back.

I love the orange top on you, and the raglan black/cheetah print. I'm not a fan of camo. Nor did this make me a fan of Fashom. I'm not a mystery box person--I need to see what I'm buying. But I love you watching you and your willingness to try everything on! I hope you love yourself as much as we all love you!
Mystery boxes are definitely not for me, but I love watching unboxings of them, especially with more than one at a time so you can get a feel for the variety as a viewer. It was especially cool to see that out of 3 boxes, everything fit except for 2 items in the final box. Curious to hear how reaching out about them goes, do you get a store credit or something? Especially since you clearly got the right size, since 13/15 items fit great!
I will let you know what they say, I just wrote them this morning! I really love the idea of mystery boxes- I could have done just one if I wasn’t filming them, but it was really so much fun to be able to do 3 at once! The variety was pretty staggering!

The first box was GREAT and the black tshirt with animal print sleeves also great. Although i keep singing Shanya twains "Man I feel like a woman" its the animal prints LOL... thanks for sharing..

The black with leopard print sleeves was awesome, looked really good on you. Yeah, I think you lucked out with that first box.
Just like everyone else, I thought the items in the first box were the best. And surprisingly, I liked the bamboo top the best. That’s a higher end fabric. Not high end but much better than the poly/spandex blends. I’m very sad that the teal top didn’t fit, I loved the look of it.
I’m not a jumpsuit girl at all, (I don’t mind showing SOME skin) but I just don’t want to get nearly nude to use the restroom.

I was so excited to see this video pop up this morning! I love a good clothing mystery box or subscription box video and getting to see 3 boxes in one video is just glorious!!! I liked quite a bit of what you got. I ordered a Fashom box almost two weeks ago and it hasn’t shipped yet. I’ve been anxiously awaiting its arrival. I really hope I don’t get a mom themed top like you got in your second box because I’m not a mom so I’d have zero use for it. Keeping my fingers crossed for some Gilli, Mono B, Democracy or Kut From the Kloth items because those are all brands I really enjoy & have a lot of in my wardrobe. Overall I feel like you got some super cute stuff that looked nice on you.
Allie, let me know what you get!! I am a sucker for a mystery, but it is wild how much these varied! My fingers are crossed 🤞- I will say that most of the time the Fashom boxes just land on my door with no real notice- I will look and see where they ship from when I get home- I think California.
@@BigonStyleI finally got my Fashom box and what a disaster! I did not get anything close to the cute stuff you and Taren Denise got. I indicated I wear silver jewelry and got long dangly yellow gold earrings. The rest of my box was all tops. One was a twisted front peplum top that was a sheer cream color, with kind of an animal print and was marked 3X but fit like an XL. The second was a floral top that had some of the flowers accented with something that resembled puffy paint. I didn’t love the particular floral print but I did like the colors. Unfortunately it too also fit like an XL. The last two tops I had a reasonable amount of hope for. The first was a black sweatshirt that said Levi’s on the left side of the chest and the other was a faded red surplice top in a cotton fabric and an elastic waistband. However I was disappointed to see that both were cropped. I’m a plus sized girl who carries the majority of her weight in the stomach area. I DO NOT wear cropped. They both looked terrible on! I was so sad. None of the cute dresses, rompers, shorts, soft/cozy tops or pants I saw in other unboxings. Literally nothing that I can make work. I’m not super picky about clothing either. I wear a variety of styles and appreciate loungewear, workwear, date night pieces, etc etc. I didn’t expect to like everything but I thought I’d at least get one good item. 😢

It was really fun from my end! My daughter is excited about some oversized lightweight hoodies, but most of it was very much not my style.
I generally don’t like square neck lines but man that top looks really nice on you. Maybe a square neckline is actually more flattering than I realized.
I normally avoid them, too! I wonder what it was about that one- I really liked it!

Hey Ann, they are currently mystery boxes, but planning on going back into a subscription style model. I really have mixed feelings about them - over the past year I have gotten 4 boxes, all were filmed. One was great, 2 were okay, enough, and one was all around bad- items that didn’t fit, horrible quality. It truly is kind of luck of the draw right now. I will probably try them when they do their new subscription model, but only out of curiosity and wanting to review them, not because I am truly excited about it.

Have you ever been fitted for a bra, I myself was quite surprised when I was fitted and the help provided which made a big difference on how clothing looked on my figure. Before Christmas I was fitted at lane Bryant I only bought the strapless multiway underwire and pretty much only wear it when I’m wearing formals.

Hey Mary, thank you!! I typically upload once a week. These next couple of weeks I’m trying to squeeze a few extras. I work full time, so I film and edit after work and on the weekends, and editing takes about 10 times longer than filming!

I have ordered multiple mystery boxes from Fashom thinking I’ll get a box like your 1st box, but I have only received pieces like your 2nd/3rd box. Everything has gone straight to Goodwill unfortunately.
Thanks for getting 3 boxes. My honest opinion is all of the items except the jean shorts, look like they run small. It appears these are items that were sent back from their subscription boxes. I won't be ordering.
I think you may be right on the returned items! I think having a look into 3 boxes gave a pretty good glimpse of what you could get.
Cotton. No poly. It doesn’t breathe, and I can’t stand the way it feels.
The first box was great but each box after went down in quality. However the star shirt did look really great on you as did the "boo boo" shirt. I don't like shirts with writing on them because for some reason people think they are supposed to comment on them. "Snack stealer" could invite some rude comments and then I would be off to jail or the emergency room.
Ha- I hear you on the comment front!! The shirt actually said ‘snack dealer’ - but I do not think that that would make it ugly-comment-proof!!

I tried the mystery box one time and everything was horrible. It was so bad that I was embarrassed to donate it to the thrift store. that was when the boxes were $99. I will never order from Fashom again.
