nice video of the cleaning mat, i was hoping to look at the gun.
Awesome! This was my first Glock purchase and I love it, even though I upgraded to a Glock 23 gen 5 for my edc ccw my wife takes the 43x with her as her ccw now and she loves it. I also have the recover tactical pic rail on mine too!! Nice video
Thanks
The Recover rail and Valkyrie 2 combo is exactly the set up I want to run. I canât wait to hear about your holster endeavors; the holster is the only component that Iâm currently worried about. Thanks for the great content!
I havenât released the video but Robert from Legion defense solutions is wrapping that up for me this week. I should have it by next week. Iâm dropping another video talking about some current holsters I have he made. Hell make it happen. Thanks for watching.

5:15 also if you look closely on the holes the factory magazine have. You will see that the magazine is made out of metal too, they only "cover" it in the exterior with polymer to make it more durable.
All Glock magazines are like that.
Shield arms found a way to make more room for bullets removing the polymer exterior "cover" I guess
This is pretty great info. They worked around a design to make it work better for user. A small gun like this make so much more sense with 15rd capacity. I wouldâve preferred alittle more grip texture but works for me.
Thanks for that review! Good ideas.
I appreciate you viewing the video. Keeps this channel going thanks.
Great video and definitely helpful!

Very cool review. Iâve seen a bunch of Glock reviews but this is the first one that actually makes me want to buy a Glock. đ€

Just got mine yesterday. Do yourself a favor and get u one. U wont be disappointed. Feels great in the hand. And u cant go wrong with a Glock.
SDW 100% agreed. I probably donât do it justice. Great firearm.
MJA XL tactical man I agree with you!!! So I would LOVE to see a video on you shooting yours and talking more about!? Can we get anything like that in the near future on the 43X from you!?
buy a glock you won't be disappointed
I own one with 8 mags. Pretty sweet little gun. Mines a black Gen 5
8 mags of goodness. I really enjoy mine.
While the trigger is personal preference, I absolutely love the Overwatch Precision PolyDAT trigger with the polished trigger bar. For 50 or 60 bucks itâs a kick ass trigger. I do think that you should choose what you feel most comfortable with though
Nice insight. I went with apex. Solid function crisp 90 degree break and itâs like butter.
Changing triggers out means you shoulda just bought another gun with a stock good trigger because if you modify your trigger on a conceal carry gun and have to use it, you are gonna get in trouble and possibly throw out your self defense case. Only change triggers on competition or range guns
@@StrategicallyStrapped no since itâs my money Iâll buy whatever gun and put a trigger in that I do in depth research on and then put about 1000 rounds through it seeing if it has any malfunctions what so ever and if not Iâll run it and trust it and turn my back to the old guys at the range that try to tell me the same shit without anyone asking .
Johnny glocks combat system btw. I had one of those âDONT CHANGE YOUR TRIGGERâ dudes shoot it and he did some serious mental gymnastics to explain why he shot a lot better with my 43x compared to his stock one. He was coming back to my cubicle when he would come up with another excuse. 7 times I counted

@@codyjenn8785 if you see my update video of this glock. I went with apex trigger. Love the 90 degree pull and looks. I lightened the springs.
I here great things of Johnny glock triggers and over watch.
I was torn by overwatch and Apex.
Love my choice.
Over watch TAC trigger all the way, they are both very good and maintain all the factory trigger safety features.
Thatâs good to know. Still havenât decided but I like that looks as well. Thanks.
I second the Overwatch Precision Tac Trigger assembly in NP3. Also got the NP3'D safety plunger. I have that setup in both my 43X and Gen 3 19.
I'd love to get the Recover Tactical rail for my 43X, as well as a light. I recently spoke with Recover tactical to inquire about companies that make holsters, and I have to say they had the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were rude, and that's putting it mildly. I was thinking about getting one of the Viridian lights/lasers though. By the way, you have great content and love your videos!
To be honest. I found holster but light sits low. It was option then. No longer the way I have it. I think itâs good. But the light you say may sit better than option I had here.
Reminds me of my M&P 9 Shield I just got a Glock 43x they said you gotta put a specific beam
Quite different.
The must needed upgrade. Optic, sights and better trigger.
U Should've Just Got The 43X MOS Model, It Comes With A Rail & A Cut
Out For A Dot Sight...Great Video...
When I bought this the MOS was not released. Glock played me like apple does. I bought this and 3 months later the mos came out.
I'm looking for a multipurpose gun (80% carry 20% uspsa carry optics...non competitive more like fun training). Would you recommend glock 43x with s15 mags and holosun 507k? Never shot 43x, at what range can you reliably hit "A" zone?
In my opinion I carry Sig 365 and p320 and have trained more with those. But I was comfortably hitting A zone at 10-15 yards. I donât usually put out further than that. I have a g19 and the thing I like about G43x is the purchase your hand has on the grip. Makes for improvement of accuracy. Allows you to get back on target faster. Hope that helps if any....
I love the Glock 43X. I do not want a light on my gun. The second you point it at somone with a light, it is assult. Some people like the "RMR", "Red Dot" sights. -I like the Lasermax green dot recoil spring laser. I just push in the takedown lever and where the laser is pointed, the round goes and No red dot required. I guess it is personal taste. I like a stream line tool. Good video. I think most of us are doing the 15 round upgrade.
Thanks for the info and sharing.
S15 mag gen 2 no issue but when I added the plus 5 for 20 round it jams consistently
I got both versions and a plus 5 on both. Iâve been fortunate theyâve worked for me.
Did you have to change out the magazine catch to the metal one they provide? Also Iâm pretty sure a tlr6 will fit on it!
I changed it as they recommend. I didnât want to change the metal wears down catch and malfunctions when it counts.
Iâm sure it does. Iâve seen posts of folks running it on this.
Just picked one up today mine has the normal Glock accessory rail though
Paxton Krajnak you probably got the new MOS version. Does it have an optic cut already? Might be disappointed. I heard that rail still doesnât accept regular accessories that would fit a 1913 rail
Anyone know the name of the company that makes that magazine ? I love the grip at the bottom
The mag is shield arms S15 with plus 5 extension.
That is sexy and SA are out of stock so jealous I want the s15 combo pack
I feel you. I called and called around. When I found them I drive an hour away to get these. They are a must for a 43x.
Love the light rail.

ahhh you're in south fl , I just picked up this gun in davie

Great coverage! I was hesitant on the g43x merely because it does not have a rail for a light. But seeing this recovery piece made me happy. I was informed about it a few weeks ago and now I'm sold. Went in today and got my davidsons edition on hold for me. Gonna be my first FDE!!

Logan Vang shield arms. Going to put up video just about the mags this week. Stay tuned.
Those dang Shield Arms mags are back ordered everywhere. I want a few really bad but canât find them. When they are restocked I will definitely be getting at least two.
Even if they are back order. Place your order and they will fulfill the order in about 3 weeks. The order will process. I got 3 more recently doing that.
@@xltactical thanks for the advice. I actually just did that about two days ago to secure my spot in line. I guess the good thing about them being so hard to get is that they must really be that good.
@@kwm4404 itâs hit or miss. Some people donât like them. I personally think they are great. Iâve had them well over a year and tons of rounds and no issues. Iâve dropped them fully loaded , empty etc and they are solid.
I canât get past the fact that a completely separate mag fits thatâs so cool that glock made it universal sort of
Do you have a edc holster for it I can not find one to fit the recover & the olight mini on it
Look at the comments I have the link pinned for the holster.
Can aftermarket magazines mess up this gun? I was thinking of picking a few up but I bought a glock to have a lifetime chin. Iâm scared to mess it up.
The only thing that is recommend to change is mag release as itâs made of polymer. The mag is aluminum. It will wear down release over time. But outside of that. No way it should mess gun up. They make this gun run as it shouldâve from the start.
Great review. Can I ask where did you purchase it? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks!
Peter Suarez the gun I got from my local lgs. Rules of engravement. Optics had to hunt down and upgrades ordered online.
@@xltactical Thanks for the quick reply. I thought maybe you brought it online.
That rail gives it a whole different look, a beastly look.
It does change the gun for the better.
@@Pler1978 I think it does widen it but if your making decision to carry light that is alittle expected. If they make a slimline tlr. For these smaller guns Iâm sure it will be a great hit.
Good selection of toys. I was wondering about rail options. I have the mags on order already and am looking at metal mag releases.
I got the mag realest from shield arms too.
whatâs your Experience with the S15 mag, any liability issues?
I have about 10 so far. 4 of the original and 6 of the 2nd gen. I hear horror stories but as for me Iâve had no issues. Iâve shot collectively about 1500 rounds through 6 of mine. Just picked up the last 4 and those have about 100 rounds each. Not sure how much that counts for my opinion. They are solid in my experience

Does the recover tactical rail fit a Glock 43x mos

With the shield arms metal magazine you also have to change the magazine release to their metal one or the stock one will fail.
