Thanks for watching!
I hate how anything yellow that flies is a bee. Several people I know have been stung this year by "bees" but they are yellow jackets. Thanks for being kind and educating.
Yep that’s me
Bees is just used as a general term they don't actually think they are bees
You were such a blessing to that lady, that you didn't just leave and tell her to call someone to come and fix her problem when they were wasps not honey bee, you both stayed, got stung and helped her - it shows your true kindness and character
Yeah, I definitely didn’t want to leave her with the problem and since we had our suits it wasn’t a big deal to stay and help.
You are teaching beautiful lessons to your children. Hard work, kindness, service and community ❤
Thank you!
Jake once you and Uriah saw they were not bees you could have left, but taught a valuable life lesson always help others if you can. I love how you and Becky teach your children such wonderful values to humans and animals ❤
I am glad you helped that sweet old lady, Wasps can be a huge issue especially if they're causing an issue with her health
It's so funny that Uriah doesn't like the honey 🤣 a bee keeper who stays out of his own stash 🤣👍
What a beautiful thing you and your son did for that dear lady. Feels great to help another in need doesn’t it. I wish this country had more families like yours.
That’s very kind to say, thank you
That was such a wonderful thing you and your son did for that nice lady. I'm sorry about the wasp stings ❤❤
That was an incredibly kind thing you two did for that lady. ♥️
Thank you, Becky
Those are most certainly a type of yellowjacket. I would probably say German. Not all yellow jackets are burrowers. some actively seek out Cavities (like European hornets do), and some are ariel nest building yellow jackets (bald faced hornet is actually a yellow jacket, and they are a cousin to the Aerial nest building yellow jacket). I'm happy you were able to do something about the yellow jackets. Especially since it's getting to be colder, this is the time of year when wasps tend to become more aggressive. If you haven't looked into his content at all, I would maybe check out Hornet King. He specializes in removing wasps of various kinds, and often goes over species differentiation when dealing with their nests.
That was so nice of you to remove the wasps. ❤
as someone who works in pest control its actually crazy how many people see wasps and think they are honey bees
I love now, when you scan over your animals, we see Holiday! She's a wonderful addition ♥ I'm happy you could help that sweet lady.
So kind of you to help that poor lady with her wasp problem! God bless you!
Thank you for helping the lady get rid of the wasps. They can be very dangerous in large numbers.
It was so nice of you and your son to help the lady with the yellow jackets!! What a great example for your kids!!!!
We have wasps- they are awful I’m glad you helped that lovely lady. Your the best ♥
Thank you for helping her!!! You and your family are so kind!
Thank you so much for helping her. God bless you.
May God bless you and your family for helping that dear lady with her problem. Even though it was not honey bees, you guys stayed and helped to eradicate the harmful pest. What a beautiful way to show your children care and concern for others.
..
Y’all were awesome to help that sweet lady.
If it were me in that situation (I am 64), I would do my best to compensate you both in some way for that brave and gallant act to help with that. That was very kind and the Lord won't forget that. The world needs this kind of above and beyond aid to folks in our communities. It's thing's like that that changes heart's and minds. Bless you!
Thank you for helping that young 😊lady.
Awesome that you helped the lady
As a beekeeper, I don't enjoy having wasps (hornet's) of any genus near or around my hives, there is always plenty of dead bee's around the hives, but some of these SOBs leave them and either make their way into a hive or they pick off bee's coming or going.
People who say a bee stung me don't know or realise a bee stings you once and 7/10 dies soon after the rest can die while they sting you, a wasp, can sting you over and over and over and if your near the nest you will get stung by more. Bee's can also attack if you are close to the nest or hive but its rare.
80% of people think if they are stung it's a bee.
I heard that paper wasps polistes genus don’t attack honey bee colonies at all but they are good at displacing Yellowjackets since they nest in the same places there also really docile too
@@insectwildlife37 Paper wasps will often attack honeybees that are returning to their hive with pollen and nectar, using their stingers to paralyze them. Then they carry the paralyzed bees back to their own nests, where they'll be used as food and fed to the hungry wasp larvae.
That kind is vicious!! So great you helped her out. ❤️ She could become allergic the more she gets stung. That’s super serious when you live alone.
What a wonderful act of kindness 🥰🥰
Thank you so much for helping out the lady with her bee issue, sorry it was not honey bees for you.
Thank you for helping her!!
Wonderful man and son for helping her❤
Thanks for helping that Lady you guys are awesome. God Bless. I’ve never had honey that fresh, it must be even better.
God Bless you and your son, your kindness
W White House on the Hill
What a wonderful act of kindness you did for that woman. Blessings to you and your family
That was so nice of you guys to help her!😊
You are so sweet to help her
It was really nice of you guys to help out the Lady who was having a Bee problem (wasp), &
Uriah went with you to be a part of solving her problem. Speaking of someone who is older than this lady worse, not by much, just in the last eight months I have been in the hospital so much and my family does not live close to me, so sometimes I have to count others to help me ❣️❣️ I’m glad you stuck with solving the problem and getting all of those nest out from under her house. You taught your son something important about helping someone else out. He will remember this forever!! Children learn by example and Dad. You are a really good example to your children, as his Mommy❣️❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you, Vickie
I've been waiting for your video all day... Cant wait to see the aviary
No bees, that part was a drag, but you became the wasp whisperer and heroes for that sweet lady. Becky's horse is a beauty. What is the name of the horse, I missed it. And I am with Uriah, honey is too sweet for me, but I know others love it.
Our horse is Holiday

I would rather take 100 honeybee stings than one wasp thing! I would highly suggest getting internal frame feeders. Open feeding only allows the strong hives to get stronger because they have larger workforces. Weak will continue to stay weak without reduced entrance, and a rapid round feeder on top. You may want to look into double screen boards as a possibility for the weaker hives to piggyback on top of stronger hives to make it through winter.!
i am such a big fan of you i remember when i first saw your channels
Wow Jake! What a big job. You were a lifesaver for that sweet lady. I've seen some bee removal videos and you did just what they would do. You and Uriah are the heroes of the day
Just love seeing your videos, I found your channel during Covid and I am stuck🙏🏼
It is so nice of you to help the elderly! Bless you and your son!❤❤
Long time watcher, first time commentor. I'm a big fan who has enjoyed watching for many years and wanted to share some feedback. Something I think your videos/channel would benefit from is building more anticipation for future videos. A lot of times when a video comes out you don't know what you're going to get - could be a hatching project, could be a bee adventure, could be the aviary build, update on the cows or could be something else. Which is normally fine, but as your different projects continue to expand it might be nice to try and build-in a bit of an arc in your videos, and with it some anticipation for an upcoming video so as the audience we can feel like we're along for the journey. You do this sometimes with hatching projects - providing a sneak peak or mentioning that we'll see the results in a later video. Might take a bit more planning, but I think this could help grow your following so people have something specific to look forward to - versus just another video (which is still nice) and might keep them around as they feel more invested in the narrative. Honestly - I would have been SO EXCITED in the build up for the pond build videos, but they kinda felt like they came out of nowhere! Anyways - only sharing incase it's helpful. love the vids, hope you keep makin em'!
That was kind of you great vid
People these wasps and wild bees are our food production machinery. We will need them. We still have no scientific and industrial scale tech to pollinate our farms and orchards or even the wild. If you are in mid and eastern United States ask a farmer who grows Paw-Paw fruits how dependent they are on one particular wasp for a good crop yeild.
For a suggestion, for similar situation where the nest is not visible, a cheap heat sensor will be a great tool to have. Bees and Wasps have to keep their hives at a certain temperature for the future generations to be born.
Your kindness is wonderful. ❤🙏🏼
Thank you for helping that sweet lady. The world needs more people like you.
So nice of you guys to help her 😊😊😊
I don’t like honey either. Actually my entire family doesn’t. But I would absolutely have a hive. I think it would be so fun an interesting to keep them. I’m so happy for that lady that you stayed an helped her. I guarantee you will get it back in return some other way ❤
That was so kind if you two to help remember rid of those nuisances.. yellow jackets & all kinds of wasps can kill poor bees & take over their hives. Sad. But God Bless you & that wonderful woman you helped🌹
Wow good job on those bees. Sure got some karma point there. Also is there a better bee keeper than a bee keeper who doesn't like honey? I mean he won't go through your honey stash while you're looking away! :)
True!
The thumbnails for the videos are getting better and better day by day 😊
I'm happy that you guys get rid out the wasp it's dangerous to the grandma there I'm glad you help her out guys🤘😁👍 keep rock n rolling
You can add the wasp or bee large to your chickens. Just put the combo down and they will peck them out. It's really good for them. Freeze it overnight then feed it to them.
Well done guy's, thats so awesome that you two were able to help that lady! Love your channel and never miss an upload
Thank you, John!
Good job. You are a blessing to your friend.
Happy to help
You guys have such a great family and working farm. I love your channel.
I hate how there’s a hole in his suit😭 but it’s nice what u did for that lady
Well done, I am so very pleased you helped that lady out with the wasp nest, as it would have been easy to say, no they are not bees and left. I was very impressed with your actions.
Thank you 😊
Super amazing for you guys to help
I would be ☠️ right now. My allergy to wasps is horrible. One sting and every lymph node in my body swells to 5x its normal size and my throat closes. This video scared the daylights out of me. I’m fine with honeybees…wasps can go to hades.
Wow, that was a crazy thing to have to endure. So glad you were able to find the source and get them out of there.
Us too!
We must defend Granny Susan from these horrible creatures! WE RIDE AT DAWN FOR YOU GRANNY!
😂
You are so nice. Most people would have been like "oh its not bees but wasps..okay well bye" 😆
We drive quite a ways, so didn’t just want to bail after there weren’t bees
I'm living in a small apartment with neighbors close by so i wont get any bees anytime soon but man when i see this i wish i had my own space where i could get my own bees and other animals as well and really live like you guys ! Would be a dream come true! But that will never happen sadly!!
This is why you do regular maintenance on your house. So you will see signs of hives and things like this. She is alone but she should learn to do some basic care herself. Good thing y'all took care of it for her.
Your chickens would go nuts for the larva in that comb
Pretty awesome looking good❤❤😂😂
Hey Jake and Becky from South africa. ❤
Yo so happy to see fellow South Africans
Brother I am also love animals whenever I watch your videos it’s make feel so good 😊. Thank you 😊
So nice of you
Don't understand why you wanted to burn them, chickens love the larva
I used to have wasps in the garden shed...right where I keep my rabbit food D:
it was a nightmare. One stung me in the eye!
Love that you helped someone in need. Thank you for your generosity and humanity.
Bless your hearts for helping this lovely lady with her wasp problem!
I've been on the lookout for content like this! Ready to believe in myself and my life's path! › "Believe in your abilities; they shape your destiny."
Your chicken will love wasp larva!
Wow you guys are amazing and really care about people and animals its so cool that you could help that old lady out . I love your videos so much keep at it guys ❤
Thanks so much!
You are aBlessing to this lady.. thank you!!
Thank you for helping her omg I felt so bad for her I’ve been stung by a wasp and let me tell you it isn’t fun, I have not been stung by a bee yet but also do not plan to lol
Natural real honey 😋
You can feed the larvae to your chickens! Just toss the comb to them
I ALWAYS get the itchies when I see swarms of insects.
Love you all! Thanks for great content.
I appreciate it!
Did you find out what type of wasps that was bugging the lady? Great job.
Just looked like common wasps when I looked them up.
Could you please give us an update on your cows? I absolutely love them!
I have been bitten by wasp it doesn’t feel good.I’m hope your safe
When are you going to do another live video? 😊
I am a big fan of you a love nature and chicken duck and all animals I am from India
Growing up I remember hating honey cause my parents used to give us Chicken nuggets and McDonald's honey. then I tried real honey and omg it's life changing experience
True 😂
Good on you for helping the nice lady out. Could have gotten a lot worse at that point.
Why not feed the larvae to the chickens instead of burning it?
Can we get some updates on the bruges fighter and the indio gigante chickens. im so curios how the grown
I hope your next big build project is a new larger house for your family.
In the next year or two, we hope to start that
You were supposed to take it home and feed it to your birds and squirrel... lol oh wait wrong channel.
All kidding aside, it was fantastic of you guys to stay and help her. Terrific video!
Wrong channel, but could still feed it to the chickens 😅
I love your videos🤩🤩🤩
Glad you could help that lady sort out the wasp problem. Your honey looks scrumptious.
poor lady
