    Thanks a ton for the video! After months of consideration between the widewheel ninebot max and emove cruiser, I actually did end up going with the touring. The combination of suspension weight speed is what sold me. I’m a little nervous about the range but from what I’ve read the charging time isn’t bad.

      @D sin, I hope you like the Touring. I do enjoy the lighter weight, I rode a ninebot max for a little bit recently and much prefer the Touring suspension.

    Hi, I saw your reviews of cruiser and touring. Great job! Currently I have ninebot max g30 , max speed around 28km/h. It's really comfortable scooter , very stiff and with 10 inch pneumatic tires. I think of upgrading that one and initially thought of cruiser. But now I 'm thinking of Touring as maybe I don't need so much range as cruiser has. I wonder what are the exact differences between both: comfort of riding , acceleration , suspension, max speed. Maybe no need to buy Cruiser if Touring is very similar. What about smaller tires? Is it any issue at all? BTW, do you know maybe what is max height from the deck to handlebar. I have 186 cm , 95 kg.

    Hi Jim - in depth review. Would you ride the scooter on a damp road? I had to scoot back in the rain once (11 miles) - hated it. Also got sprayed from the rear tyre, as the mudguard is too short (Falcon Zero 8). It looks like you might not have that problem with the EMOVE?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety

      @JellyMonster1, The Emove fenders have really good coverage, I haven't had any splash issues. I was worried the fender would fail like it did on my Zero 8 but its held up very well. Thanks for asking!

    Hey, so I got my touring. I have an issue where the charger always stays green and doesn’t charge the battery. I’ve tried all the outlets in my house, changed p1 from 41.5 to 40.5 and 43. Voro has been super great mid pandemic and sent me a new charger, which has the same issue. They are now sending me a whole new unit. Any suggestions to try to see if I can fix the issue myself?
    Again Voro has been amazing from order to technical issue to replacement. Shout out to Joey and Carter!!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety

      @D sin, the P1 setting shouldn't have any impact on charging. When you power the scooter on and toggle to voltage, what is your reading? It sounds to me like you could have an issue with the charging port on the scooter, where the charger is not actually connecting with the battery If you want to contact me via my website I can try to help step you through some options. I'm glad Voro has been responsive to you.

    So make me a deal I can’t refuse on a Cruiser ! Have you ever tested any of the Kaabo scooters ? I’m actually considering the Kaabo Skywalker 10s+ , it looks like a great scooter.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety

      @redjack56, I haven't tested anything from Kaabo. I'm impressed by the look of them on the website, it seems like everything is pretty beefy.

    Can you remove the battery? Also if you run out of battery can you kicks start manually with you feet?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 měsíci

      It can be removed but not likely in the way you are thinking. You have to partially disassemble the scooter, so more accurately it can be replaced vs removed. Love the YT name by the way, big ZZ Top fan.

    I've watched your reviews of the Emove Touring and Cruiser and it sounds like the motor on the Touring is much louder at all points of the ride. Could you please confirm if this was the case? If so, did you find it at all distracting or annoying?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety +1

      I think the touring motor is slightly louder but I think it is because of the drum brake mechanism, rear springs, and maybe even the solid tire. I don't notice it at all except during takeoff from a stop. When riding all I hear is wind!! :)

    Touring vs zero 8 since you own both. Is the touring worth the $100 extra?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety +1

      @Ban Shamayan, That's a tough question really, it depends on your riding style and where you ride. I think there are enough differences that it's not just about the extra $100. I just had a guy demo the Zero 8 and a Touring, he went with the Zero 8 for his riding style. If you ride on rough roads and wet conditions I'd go with the Touring because of the IP67 rating and more suspension. The Zero feels a bit more stable and sportier at slow speeds with the lower deck. Both companies have good customer support and the performance of the two is very similar. I just sold my demo Zero 8 because I always chose the Touring over it. I couldn't do my 13 mile commute comfortably on the Zero that I could on the Touring.
      I hope that helps, thanks for asking!

      @jesperdalgaszachariassen2575 Před 4 lety

      @@ElectronSurfer does the Touring really have an IP67 rating? I thought it was just the Cruiser that has an IP67 rating, with the Touring having no IP-rating at all.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety

      @@jesperdalgaszachariassen2575 You are correct, I was under the impression the Touring was advertised with water resistance as well, I was wrong. I'll amend my review with that. Thank you for pointing this out!

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 3 lety

      @Peter L, yes I did. I was lucky enough to not have it go fully flat before I got to my car. The split rim makes it a pretty easy change.

    Sounds like it's pretty loud, is it annoying?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  Před 4 lety

      @Keyvan Kalani, my demo model was pretty loud but not annoying. I think the noise comes from the way the rear suspension and motor work together. I'll shoot a short video with another Touring motor working.
