It's honestly really endearing how his brain just seems to NEED it to be "nobody is around" instead of "there's nobody around" xD I think every single time he's sung this song he's made that same mistake, and that's the only part he gets wrong, even when Benj is there having literally just sung it!

@@mcmw1022 he can reach 5th oct in chest but only in studio/prerecorded audios which would suggest he's a tenor but I really don't think he's capable of doing it live. In this song he really struggles for the Bb4 and in multiple versions I've seen where he performs this song he doesn't reach it ever smoothly or properly. His vocal training has clearly propelled his type of singing into that of the pop genre. His pronunciations falter (not necessarily badly even just suited to pop style) and his overall vowel modifications detract heavily from the musical theatre. He can hit high notes yes but he doesn't have the musical theatre training to change or develop his voice into doing it properly or consistently.. Hitting high notes when you have all the time in the world in the studio to have 100 attempts is different to doing it right there on the spot in front of everyone without failing or pushing the limits of your vocals, which he clearly does here.
