Alan fue quien mejor se ajustaba al sonido de la banda. Tony era muy malo. Y Zack técnicamente era el mejor lejos. Su participación en los dos últimos discos es muy buena.
Alan tenia una bateria muy melodica lo cual calzaba perfecto con el sonido de oasis.. Pero tecnicamente el mejor baterista fue Zak Starkey, incluso innovo la bateria entregandole a la banda un sonido mas duro y rockero( se observa en el concierto de argentina 2006). Creo que noel se lo farreo, lo siento. Cris es un buen batero pero no me gustan los golpeteos que aplica con el sonido de la banda. Para mi sonaba mejor con Robbie Williams.

Sin duda la mejor formación de Oasis lejos. Todos realmente aportaban y funcionaban como banda y la consolidación vino con el álbum DBTT y DOYS, lastimo que no se pudo conocer cómo evolucionarian porque se separaron, pero Oasis venía muy groove y psicodélico nuevamente.
