It's basically just Spy, Pyro, Sniper, Administrator, Pauling, Saxton Hale, Medic, and Scout that can do it well anymore. Heavy and Demo are pretty crusty imo and the original engineer likely will never get any impressions - Scout might not return either. So that’s about 4/9 or 5/9 classes that can still get decent voices for the classes and 3/4 misc actors who can do the other voices (Merasmus, Mann Bros, Bombinomicon, and engineer are unlikely get impressions by Nolan North either.)

I love the actors, they are just so wholesome and enjoyable and Shork is practically carrying the community outside of the game itself nowadays. Hopefully there's more to come as this is so enjoyable to watch. And Winglet is a classic.

I just love the little "character essay" by Dennis there in the middle. It's bloody amazing, just the fact that the characters are this thought out and he still remembers about it after so many years. Super cool!
So cool how he even knows a little TF2 lore and recognizes and knows the white dove as Archimedes. Medic’s VA Robin Downes must’ve told him. Also Bateman sounds literally indistinguishable from the original 2007 voice lines.
Not even just his laugh, when he talks normally out of character like in the first couple seconds in the intro where he's introducing himself before he slips into right character you can already faintly hear the spy in his voice, so much so the transition is smooth.
I know he’s a VA and complementing his performance is like saying “man that fish is really good at swimming” but I really enjoyed the passion he put into the video
Jesus, he nailed spies voice to perfection, usually when VAs try to recreate voices of the same character, it sounds a little off, but this one is perfection.
There’s always the unknown “The Scratched Universe” which was basically a JJBA x TF2 crossover with its own spin on the antagonists and bad guys while still keeping the fun style of TF2.
This is easily the best video about the VA's yet. Dennis has an incredible amount of self-awareness in regards to how his voice is used for comedic effect. While some of the VAs sound a little different than the original lines after all these years, Dennis captures Spy as if he recorded those lines yesterday. It's also nice that he kept some of the choppiness, both for respect to the original and comedy. He understands the true hilarity with sentence mixing and truly grasps how amazing his original voicelines were that kept these kinds of SFM videos entertaining almost 14 years after the game's release.
Spy "pout"-eating from the bag of chips is still to this day one of the greatest animated segments I have ever seen in SFM (so authentic, still makes me burst out of laughter). Congratulations Winglet on getting this Bateman redub (and thank you Shork for making this possible). 👏

I love that the actors seem genuinely happy with their roles as their characters. A lot of video game actors like to distance themselves from their work (e.g Steven Ogg, Trevor from GTA V) and even the Scout's voice actor Nathan doesn't seem to like being known as "the voice of scout" hence why he took a 2 year hiatus from the internet. If you're reading this comment ShorK, please put the actor's name in the description too! Dennis Bateman is a treasure.
