Frenchie in the boys comics wasn't weapon especialist. It was something showrunners added to him to make him more interesting. MK's frenchie was more like a driver/pilot/friend he was kinda of an alfred but tried to make him different enough to not be too obvious
Then again writers get rid of all of MK friends and sidekicks in modern era

They were besties and it looked like they're about the same age. Old moon knight was kinda interesting. He was like opposite of batman and had friends and companions that kept his sanity in check. On of his best stories was "devided we fall" that showed how MK would be messed up if he was alone but interesting countinuty was that everybody would suffer because of him. In his first story, crawley's son dies (it was kinda his own fault but MK was chasing him and he was scared) and when we get to modern era MK is all by himself and completely alone and all he has is voices of khonshu and his other personalities
It's really sad I hope MCU developes his stories so we see those sides of him

@@Qeiji miss frenchie, He was 100% an Alfred. Anybody who’s spends as much time with themselves as Moonknight or Batman needs one honestly. But I’ve always felt capability played a factor. Alfred dies a decent amount of the time and Bruce goes on his justice spree but moonknight actually made relation/friendships that didn’t touch the kinda familial role Alfred or Robin or even batgirl does for him. Moonknight isn’t really someone anyone looks up to because at the end of the day he a level of unpredictable that might aswell amount to crazy. He’s not even worth copying for taskmaster I’d argue in almost any iteration even if he only says it in one. I like to view his run as a progressional thing when it comes to his DID. In his avengers days he had friends to help him stay grounded but as he lost them all (or they were written away for convince) he began to cope with being alone by being the full range of himself. Having no treatment for this and a high stress isolating job eventually he even started just talking to himself.
I know IRL DID personalities can be aware of and have opinions of each other, Even to the point of wanting to/actually interacting with one another it makes sense where he is now in the comics. Not to mention konshu becomes an increasingly power hungry and demanding controlling dickhead in each new installment. There used to be mystery to him but the guy is a egoistic cockbite that now practically just takes full advantage of Marc anytime globally he decides he needs something. He even sends his other followers after him practically anytime he or one of them deems mark isn’t doing a good job.
I like alot about the character but I dont see the changes they make from run to run having really been anything but taking mark from a guy with superpowers to an often unwilling servitor to konshu. I feel like it’s why he and spider man still get along and that’s practically his only remaining recurring ally, They’re both so dreadfully overworked and alone it just makes sense mark would appreciate the wall crawler’s company. He even lends spikey his Mr.Knight suit in one issue for a dance with MJ I think. I feel like the reason moonknight is alone is just the same as Spider-Man, You can’t have friends that know your name and Moonknight has more than one name to protect.

I read comics all the time but never read much moon night and my local comic book store was recently closed down and I don't like reading comics online. So I appreciate you for allowing me to learn more about the moon knight character before the show comes out

Watched the Moon Knight #1 on Disney+ and while the characters spooked me, this video helped me understand who Moon Knight is and how vicious yet precise he is

There's just something fantastic about how Moon Knight is literally the opposite of Batman in their appearances and usage of fear, Batman stays hidden in the shadows, but using fear knowing he's hunting them to get under their skin.
Moon Knight, however, as he says here "I'm the one you see coming" and fully white clothing is just so fantastically more scary if I'm being honest.
Stories like these help me understand why they went the way they did with the TV show.
I had only known Moon Knight from his occasional appearances in other Marvel animated shows. He was fascinating, but it always just Marc Spector, never touching on his deeper nature, like his DID (his insanity is treated as comical). It was quite a shock to find out he was a superhero with a mental illness, unrealistic portrayals aside.
In the comics, Moon Knight really is fleshed out as a character: but the one thing that remained rather unexplored in the comics and the animated shows (likely due to the uncertain nature of where, how and why Marc even has alters) is Marc having personal relationships with his alters that are deeply emotionally connected to him.
In the comics, Steven and Jake are very much tools in Marc's utility belt, they didn't really interact with Marc or one another or have the emotional connection due to that. It's only in more recent years they get recognized as being their own people. I can see this is the series that really cemented the point, even if it's more in line of being aspects of Marc himself, compared to the show which takes the more realistic DID condition approach.
They just do a new path in the MCU because if they follow his story in the comics many fans aren't gonna like it especially dceu they are the same as batman

Does the Doctor that took Khonshus power from Marc have some kind of psychic/telepathic power? I don’t get how she got Marc and the security guard to see all the images of the past. Can someone explain?
She's a hypnotic doctor.
As the guy above me said, she does hypnosis for medical treatment and I guess she's able to communicate to Khonshu the same way Marc can when she's allowed in his head. In this case it seems the doctor was able to swindle Khonshu into siding with her for personal, while "just," reasons.
But then it's revealed that her motivations and actions aren't just. She lied to Khonshu and was able to get Khonshu to fall for it.
My first experience of moon knight was that old marvel ultimate alliance game that came with the original Xbox 360s

I have an idea. What if you made videos about characters or storylines during the MCU show’s run. Meaning that during the six weeks the stories you upload are Moon Knight stories. It would be the same with other series either character or storyline wise. Like all the Armor Wars stories in the comics during the Armor Wars series. During She-Hulk’s 10 episode run you could do both the savage she-hulk or sensational she-hulk stories and so on.
Definitely do this! With the run of the show, more people will look these things up in anticipation (kinda like me! First time viewer here, hi👋)
