Great projects. A little less than a year ago we moved from San Francisco to a VERY small town in Kentucky to homestead. We got 6 acres, half is woods. The house needed WAY more work than we were told tho, so we've had to focus most of our time and small budget on fixing those big issues and making the house livable. But this second year, I hope we can get to the "good part" of homesteading like y'all are doing. I've saved all of your videos so I can refer back to them 🙂 But I'm really looking forward to getting Runner ducks and chickens, some draft mules, and planting an orchard and veggie garden with a chicken moat.
Oh man! That is so cool! Good for you guys! 😊🙌🏼 I totally agree that the good stuff comes when the inside of the house is finished lol I’m excited for you guys- it sounds like you have a nice place and some super fun plans. You’re going to love it!! 😊
@@MTN_BUILT Our place is till pretty scruffy. We made 17 dump runs just getting rid of garbage the previous owners threw all over the property 😕. But it looks way better now with all the garbage gone. I really look forward to your videos. Hubby and I are similar to y'all and your interests, your move, and homesteading adventure and it's really nice to see someone else successfully working toward similar goals as our own 💪🙂
You all did very well there's a lot of work in what you did and although the videos are informative it doesn't show all the effort great job guys thanks kray
I hope you are both very proud of yourselves. The homestead is looking great and those mules and quackers are too shabby either way. Good job. 👏🏻👏🏻🙋♀️😎💝
We’ll keep the hens. We enjoy duck eggs so they are replacing some of the laying hens that are getting old and not laying as many eggs anymore. The drakes will go to other homes, we have a few people that want them. ☺️
I love your 3 improvements to your homestead! Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you: 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: 26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. God bless us, every one!
Nice! I agree the pasture set up is sweet
Thank you! It’s super nice to have it done! 😊🙌🏼
Calling it “A Quack Shack” is actually adorable. It looks really nice and a good area for ducklings to roam.
😂😂❤️ thank you!

FORMULE
Wow the FORMULE is FOR MULE. ECAT. Word witch which witch
Bahahaha! Nice 😂 My brother came up with the question, “Can you still steal a still still?” 🤯
I've wondered why people keep ducks, chickens I understand but is it because they eat more insects?
We actually have them because their personalities are fun, and they’re great egg layers… they lay better than our chickens through the winter 😊
@@MTN_BUILT That's why we want them too. They do happen to be good insect /pest eaters in the garden too 😉
