Would you rather get a mini gs or etha 3m

What about for playing tournaments? Will the axe be better?

Yes definitely feel the Axe will be better. Easier and faster to clean when in a hurry at a tournament plus it will shoot better paintballs.

I seriously cannot decide between these two guns. What are your thoughts on the redline boards? Do you find them to be worth it

Main difference is the size plus performance.
If you are over 5’ 9” ish then the Mini could be quite small for your hands.
The Axe can shoot better quality paint so if you’re planning on playing tournaments the Axe would be my choice. If youre not either of this then the Mini GS will be a great choice.
Save the $$, go with the Mini and buy a nicer loader like the Spire IR2. You won’t regret that setup.
Redline board is a nice upgrade but not needed to be happy. You only change your settings occasionally so once it’s setup, there isn’t much need for the screen.

@@ProEdgePaintball thank you for this super insightful and helpful comment. Today I went on ansgear and bought the limited edition axe 2.0 for $425 and it came with a free pre-installed redline board which is awesome! I didn’t have to pay over a hundred extra for it and the gun overall seems easier to maintain and slightly bigger. I bought a spire IR2 hopper as well.

Hopefully in the future we can earn your business and support! I really hope you enjoy your Axe!!
If you have any question about it or the Spire let me know.

@@ProEdgePaintball Thank you! I will definitely look into the website for other equipment options from you guys. Also new to paintball, my only worry is not finding a place around where I live to play a little less skilled speedball. Do you mainly have to just be on a team to play speedball?

which hopper do you recommend the most for the mini?

The IR2 is my 100% favorite.
Light weight, never jams and not $200.

Ir2 hands down at 110 bucks. Sleak design and 100 bucks less than a spire. Halo Too is 65 bucks but more clunky, but will do the job.
