We’re ALMOST done our van build! | Transit Van Conversion

- After nearly 6 months of converting our Ford Transit into a beautiful tiny home, did we FINALLY finish the conversion? We are thrilled with how the van is looking, and it's very hard to believe the build has turned out (almost) exactly as we've planned. We are still debating getting a heater for the van, but all else aside, this van is exactly what we dreamed up when we first picked up our Transit.
We will of course be filming a van tour at some point, but we would much prefer to do that in a beautiful setting out west and not in suburbia or on the Ontario farmlands, so that will have to wait. If you have any questions about our van build, or van building in general, please drop it in the comments as we have been compiling the most commonly asked questions along the way to answer in a future video. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and our van build series. It's hard to believe that it's basically over, but the best part about all of this is that the van life adventure is JUST BEGINNING!

Looks great guys! I ran my electrical wires today. Hoping tofinish my subfloor and framing the walls tomorrow. Decided to switch to 2x4 instead of 1x3 for furring strips. Couple weird parts of my van walls stick out and the bigger 2x4 will make it easier to put on walls smoothly. I need to connect my wires to the battery for my dc to dc charger. That way I don’t have to worry about trying to hide them after the fact. I look forward to watching you get out and adventure!!

@@RichandKirsten i got a renogy 50amp combination mppt controller and dc-dc charger. I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. It was gorgeous today and I got a good full day of building in!
If magnets don't work maybe a sideways slide or industrial velcro at the corners.
We have some industrial Velcro left over... hmm
