We have had ours for a little over a year now and it has been fantastic. Cheap as chips to run and nothing has gone wrong, will have another Kia for sure.
Beautiful spec. Wish we had the same introduced in South Africa. Just got mine yesterday. 2016 1.0 LX model. Good handling and not bad on comfort as well.
How is the speed on Hill please. What happens on the speed when Ac is on ?
It looks so cute i have to say and the fact its Korean means it must be more reliable than a Fiat 500 or VW UP with rigged emissions.
I love mine! I've found nipping around town is easier in lower gears though like in 3rd gear as its noisy and labours in 4th at 30mph. Perfect car for what I want it for though and is easy to drive on the motorway. I can easily get up to 70-75 mph no problem and mine is only a 1litre ☺️☺️

+z anthony I got a horse and buggy and it is tons of fun. More horsepower too.
After several months I am still loving the car. I have the upgraded stop start engine and on the motorway it cruises fine. FYI I pity the haters who are sucked in by badges and not performance lol
I think we need more cars like this in the US. The Chevy Spark is the only decent supermini you can get in the states. The Mirage isn't compelling and the 500 and ForTwo are priced too high for such a vehicle of its size.
The Picanto seems very nice, I would just like the pillar between the windows to be matte or gloss black.
Here in Australia we don't even get the additional trim levels - it starts here at $15,000 but the only trim level offered is the base trim level.
No satnav, no heated seats/steering wheel, no manual transmission.
Why the hell do we miss out on the additional features? At least make them optional!
It's winter, it gets into the negatives. Offer this stuff to us.
That is one serious kitted car. Great for people who do a lot of city driving imo.
Harambe The Gorilla but also it sits very well at 75 on the motorway with no fuss, so why would it be underpowered if I can keep up with everyone else (well, those who stick to the limit, as the rest are bell ends who deserve to lose their license). A lot of reviewers think that city cars are incapable of going on the motorway, which if you think about it is crazy when you look back at the cars in the 1970s. How did an 1100 engine ford escort get anywhere as it must have been far too slow for trundling up the M6. Its all bullshit from car reviewers, and nobody except pricks with big egos needs to accelerate stupidly up to ANY speed limit.

Have a Special edition 2 from the uefa campaign they had in 2016. The one I have with the same options still costs more than what I paid, and I have to say coming from Lexus I was concerned that it was going to be uncomfortable but I love it, yea sure I lost some comforts but I gain much in the economy department :-)

The engine sounded very good to me, definitely not coarse, and better than the Rios 1.2 engine for sure
I an Aygo & my wife has the Picanto & the picanto is a great car & it actually feels likeI'm still driving my 2006 focus. The Aygo is better on fuel but thats where it stops, Although Iove the picanto I will be getting its sister the I10 due to its slightly mdified front end.

How come these car manufacturers don't offer cooling seats for people living in the tropics?
Our Kia Carnival actually does have heated seats and cooling seats, and we bought ours back in 2016. All of our friends are buying other cars with it thinking that it's all fantastic and new but in reality we've had it all along :)

i have this car but it has much less things on it and it's the 1000 engine. it's great in the city but really weak for highway

I don't think we are getting the base picanto, but it's terrible, I would avoid the spark also, GM Korea, formerly daewoo don't have a good reputation for quality, I would just get a second hand VW up, can pick them up for real cheap with low km because no one can drive manual in this country which is why it was terminated here.

I did enjoy hiring this little car but I've gone for the puritan Dacia Sandero because I hate modern cars.

Are those xenon headlights, or just projector halogens?
+ast5515 just projector halogens, all xenons must come with washers (thats how i can tell if they are xenons or not) LED headlights dont for some reason.
+Graham Reid (Grizzle) The top of the range new Hyundai Tucson have low beam dual LED Headlights and they come with headlight washers
James Gordon His point is that there is no law stating all LEDs need washers, but xenons are required to have washers by law.

The 1.0 engine is quieter on the motorway than the 1.2 and reviewers like this have no idea what they are talking about. I work for a Kia dealer.
