    That color bone seems to be working fine. Good to see. I drilled a small hole in my handle bars to install my charger. Then used a self tapping screw to mount bracket.

      Yeah, nearly back to normal! Cleverly solved, must fit in well directly on the handlebars 🙂

    It does come in handy on long rides.

      Exactly, won't really use it for short cruizes but whenever I need Waze or other means of navigation I have to plug in my phone, the battery is way too weak by now.

    Where does that previous plug connect to? The one you disconnected from the motorcycle? Was it an auxiliary plug?

    Hi, I just received the bike and I wanted to ask you but the connector I have on the bike is attached to a connector; I have to detach it to connect the USB one

      I have the same issue. If you know how to do, please tell me😊

    Wait so there's a plug just hanging out in there? Not connected to anything?

      Yeah, it's a female auxiliary DC connector, plugged on a male dummy plug which is taped to the wiring loom! Once you've removed the parts as shown in the video you should easily find it 👌

      How do you get the stupid plug out? It's such a small space?

    • @Alpoholic
      @Alpoholic  Před 11 měsíci

      Took a screedriver to first loose / unlock the clip in the middle of the plug and then I could pull it out with my fingers 👌

    Do you know if this is the same for the xsr 125?

      Sorry for the late reply. honestly don't know but if the manual mentions an extra auxiliary plug I trust there'll be a way to easily access it :)

    I this the original Yamaha XSR700 USB charger

      I bought mine on ebay and it didn't come in the original packaging but it looks just the same as the original Yamaha OEM USB socket (part number: YMEFUSBU0000 you can still buy it directly from Yamaha) that was offered for MT-07 & XSR700.. The one they offer for the 2022 model looks a bit different but the connector and installation procedure are just the same!
