the job market scenario in India and the US is totally different. The jobs are several times that of India and the hiring process for freshers is a lot less cumbersome. In India, it is common for a freshers to sit for 4-5 rounds and some companies even ask design questions to them.
Pakistani American here... The process is the exact same here... If you're going to push the upper-junior salary levels, expect to be hit with 5-7 interviews with at least one behavioral, one system design and one product interview. Doesn't seem too different.

it is not any less cumbersome. if you want a good salary, you've got to clear those 4-5 rounds. there is no easy road.
and of course the job market is not the same, it goes without saying. USA is the tech center of the world, that is just a fact. no other country can complete them in this sector let alone India but india has a very very good job market right now in IT, there is no way you'd be sitting at home (this is if you're not wfh ) if you've got some skills.
@@naveengupta6878 companies don't hire 2016 , 2017 to 2019 passed out and hire freshers with good package if 2016 pass out doesn't have experience in IT field or having some non other IT experience. In India you keep on applying you will never get a call from recruiter to give interview but in USA you will get interview call and you can give the test and analyse yourself and hence can get a job easliy in first or second attempt if you try after first failure. India is just hell if you want job , cause no one hire without jugaad
I hope one day you will show negative sides to work in USA for Indians since the wait time to get GC from H1B is between 15-70 years.

I interned at Salesforce too and I can tell you he probably just attended FutureForce events and didn't do anything since he cant tell what a CRM is. lol . Also code push to production every 3 hours lol. This is where all the jokes about interns breaking production come from

Daily push by you can never ever go to production, that's quite misleading, because your code needs to be reviewed, and you are an intern. Being an intern too in the software dev field, we understand what you said at 4:23, Harnoor please moderate your interviews a bit, they are very misleading at some points.
Yes thanks for clarifying! Yes code reviews are part of it. Code to production is not instant but during once completed and reviewed it’s shipped immediately

This intern dude is boasting himself a lot and giving many misleading information. Having worked in faang as Software Engineer I know that interns dont push code to production every 3 hours or every day.
I disagree , it's not a fair game. Whatever major you are coming from, you are asked algorithmic questions. This is straightup dumb since you are applying for something other than Software Engineering, still you are expected to solve algorithmic questions at the level of Software Engineering jobs.
getting your code on facebook and instagram on daily basis, whats the big deal? you aren't writing code for a spaceship. Ambition is fed into us right from grade 1, and we feel accomplished on insignificant things. With all that talent he should make his own company
