This version of U2 is the greatest live rock band there ever was and ever will be. Nothing. No other and. Not the Stones, or Bruce or The Who can touch Zootv Era U2. They were simply the greatest live band the world had ever witnessed.

Each time I watch this I am just speechless. I love a variety of rock music but this is 1 reason why U2 will always be that 1 shinning star and outshines all the other groups I truly love as well. The Edge was using an e-bow in that time. Nowadays, he control all efects and presets on the pedalboard. Using and ebow, you cannot sustain notes forever. The bass sound is a lot better here than today. Great version anyway..

God why can't Bono sing like this anymore? Zoo TV Bono could still sing the notes, granted with less power, but that falsetto voice is something else... People who think Bono still sings as beautifully today need to see this performance to see the massive difference.

Facts this whole performance sounded alot like 87 except no doubt 87 had WAY more power to it. That version can not be beaten. Also I agree I think his voice could be alot like this still if he had of taken care of his voice better. He still sounds great for a 59 year old going on 60.
